The TMO mailer which promised a "holiday gift" if I installed this 20+ MB bloatware really does only give you 20% off any of the featured items in the mailer... Not only that, but it doesn't work online, only in-person at a TMO store! On top of that, all of the items featured are dramatically overpriced both in-store and online (e.g. even with *overnight* shipping charges, most of these items cost a great deal less than I would pay T-Mobile even with their "gift" if a discount if I order new on Amazon).
Somebody pls inform tmobile to save environment by saving paper. Pls save paper and save money on such color prints. An email would have been better for this promotion. Its just my 2 cents of advice.
I saw video on website a month ago. Why make me download something new when most of us have a q code reader already. Waste...
After 8 yrs. being with you, I had decided to move out as I saw your service getting worst. You are more on the money side than the service side. Your customer service not reliable anymore, youe no cpntract sucks and now this tricky ad is the worst by not getting straight forward. 20% really? Change your marketing people guys coz thwy all sucks!
It just serves you ads. Useless. The FREE gift is nothing but 20% discount in some lame accessories
Your accessories are already way overpriced, so 20 percent off won't change that. Still going to order the better cheaper product on amazon..
It would be sweet of playboy adopted this same technology. But seriously, do something cool with it, like a scavenger hunt, scan an album cover to get a free song. Even user submitted content. Or the ability to scan t mobile commercials, direct mail ads, concert tickets, email ads, whatever to earn points which will accumulate over time and you can use the points to buy stuff like amazon gift cards or cash em out for the purchase of a new device. The potential is there, work from here.
This app isn't beneficial to customers.
Having to download an app just to scan a coupon is a joke and a waste of time.
Useless 20%, useless app. Rethink your marketing strategy.
Doesn't work
Not very useful!
useless crap,
Thanks for wasting my time. This was pointless.
Downloading an app to "see" a coupon is idiotic when I'm already holding the mailer you sent in my hands.
Tried it twice, not working.
What a joke. To get a discount at a T-Mobile store? To pay too much for unwanted accessories?
Print ads aren't relevant and it was misleading. Fire the people who thought of this immediately.

Curiosity got the best of me ... So I downloaded this app after receiving a flyer in the mail from T mobile. It's really useless. You scan the ad and are directed to a short commercial for the item they are selling. In my opinion, a link to the ad online would have been sufficient. But now I've just wasted time & space on my phone. I'm going to uninstall now.
A rebranded barcode scanner that plays a low-res video giving you 20% off accessories. Why couldn't they just say that without downloading an app?
Yes, it's gimmicky. Sheesh people, most advertising is. It's the gimmick that makes people remember the product. If you don't like how much space it takes up, then uninstall it. But that is no reason to give it a horrible rating. It does what it was meant to do.
Spend money on print mailers. Get people to download an app on their phones. The app will allow you to scan for a mystery prize. Your mystery prize will be a 20% coupon off of 400% marked up accessories. Thanks T-Mobile.
It don't even work. Won't scan nothing. Smh but recently tmoblie been letting me down
If T-Mobile would have told the offer upfront without asking for downloading the app, it would have been fine. Instead wasted my 20mb space and 15 minutes. T-Mobile shouldn't treat their customers like this. If you would like to avail the offer, just take the mailer to the store.
The app doesn't work, nothing loaded, 10 minutes of trying to get it to scan then when it did it just went to a frozen video. Read reviews to see what the gift was... A coupon is not a gift. A free item is a gift. And that was a huge waste.
Everyone is hating on this app but I kind of like it. Probably not going to use the 20 percent discount because I can get a better deal on accessories on the Internet webs but I still think the app is kind of cool.
I wish the app would work so I could scan and get my coupon but it won't scan. I wonder if I can just take the flyer to the store and they give me the discount.
The Moto 360 is an accessory on the website. I'm about to go into the Brick and Mortar and ask for $50 off. That would make today an excellent deal!
I sat there scanning the bar code, the T-Motion icon, and the dumb present for like 10 minutes. Nothing happened. Good to know it's a cheap discount anyway.

If this was a scan bar codes to find cheaper items. Then I would happy but I am not sure what is this for? Besides t-mobile advertising accessories for 20%.

Why not just ask us to scan it via Google Goggles or just to scan the bar code and that's it. We definitely know what to do if you'd just ask us to scan the bar code, we don't need another app for that.
T mobile.... Im so dissatisfied with the services you guys have now. Been with u since i could own my own phone (over 10years now). I get these happy holidays from T Mobile gift in the mail thinking it would be something great. Download this motion app which is no big deal at all the app is OK. I'm giving this one star not only for your services but for only giving me 20 percent off a single accessory for my phone. T Mobile should pay for at least a month of my services for holidays free for a gift.
Thanks T-Mobile, for nothing other than making me mad that I have a crap phone! My credit suck's so I'm stuck with this caca for now. Makes me wish I just would've stayed with AT&T.
Not really worth the effort. I'd rather just be told I have 20% off any accessory in the flyer itself.
Yeah. 15 minutes to get the app to work and you want to give me 20% off overpriced accessories? Waste of my time and the whole marketing attempt was a waste of money.
