To anyone who wants to bypass this apps tracking capabilities: turn off your gps by swiping down twice from the top edge of the screen and tap the gps logo until it turns grey, root your phone and force this apps uninstall with a root uninstaller,finally if all else fails request a new sim card from your phone carrier and remove the battery from your phone while waiting for it.

Why would anybody tell others how to uninstall this app because of invasion of privacy? I'm sorry, but it's not invasion of privacy for a parent to know where their children are! We're supposed to keep them safe in this sad & messed up world we live in! & if u don't want your parents knowing where you are then you must be up to no good & should be tracked because when something bad happens, your parents will be the 1st 1s if not the only 1s 2 care & protect you!

The Alerts feature of the Tracking Portal isn't reliable. I set up a single alert for leaving a small zone. The first two times the phone left the zone I received an alert via email, but no more alerts after that. The Parent and Teen apps didn't work on Android version 2.2.2 (Virgin Mobile LG Optimus V). I called Amber Alert tech support and they said there are 'problems' with Android version 2. The apps worked OK on Android version 4 (Kyocera Rise).
