This application is designed for Malaysians to send emergency request for cases specifically related to Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM).
SaveME 999 POLIS application utilizes the internet broadband to transmit the text messages. In addition, it also uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) in smart phones to identify the location of the user.
Users can activate the application by pressing the ‘SaveME 999 POLIS’ icon on the smart phone. The GPS address and the sender’s details such as name, telephone number, type of emergency and registered address of the sender will be transmitted automatically to MERS 999 Response Center(MERS 999 RC).
Additional information about the incident and location detail can be added in the message. This information will assist PDRM to send the required help fast and accurate.
There is a ‘Preset Location’ function to this application which enables the user to add the addresses of their familiar places such as home, office, parent’s house or any other important place. If an emergency situation occurs at one of the Preset Location, user can just quickly choose the location from the preset list and send the emergency request.

Ive completed the form but when i chose to save, it kept asking me to fill in my 12-digit IC no. Ive tried to fill in my IC no with & without dash but the outcome was still the same.

In the case we lost our phone, all the information and emergency contact information could be easily view by the theft. Our privacy will be at risk and this enable them to further involve criminal. It is suggested, before allow to viewing the user profile, a password must be require to enter by the user so the user information is secure. Else, the developer could have better suggestion.

After install thus app,prompt me to fill my detail which i did but cant save the setting as its keep prompting pls update valid contact which its correct. So fed up uninstall the app. Not good,by right no star giving here.:-(
