Relay ME forwards your texts, as they arrive, to the email address of your choice. If you upgrade, you can reply to texts from within your email inbox. Forwarding is always free, free of charge and advertisement, forever.
This app is developed with security and privacy in mind. Your texts only travel through the email gateway of your own, not through an intermediary server. However, the catch is, you need to provide your own email gateway, be it a free GMail account or another SMTP/IMAP supporting account (Yahoo, Live, or your own server). We don't get to see your texts. In addition to that, replies work as long as your phone is up and connected to Internet. It means if your phone sleeps, your replies will be affected.

For example, it doesn't backup/copy your texts, it works on new messages as they arrive and doesn't deal with the old texts. It does require an Internet connection for forwarding texts and it uses your phone's messaging capabilities for replies, so you will be charged for your replies by your operator. And yes, it needs your phone to be ON!

Unlike many other similar applications, your texts go directly to the email server and no intermediary is involved in handling them. Emails are also sent through a safe and secure SMTP connection to your email server (and polled via a secure IMAP connection). Relay ME never asks for any confidential information, including your password.

Works great as stated. No ads, it uses your own gateway so there is no way they can pull the plug on this service. Last app I bought had their own gateway and went belly up. I use Gmail to receive my text messages and used an old Yahoo account as my relay.

Great service, hopefully it will be kept alive. There is gmail account auth failure now, when trying to use gmail account withing regular gmail auth you can give rights to replay me, but then the forwarded page at herokuapp with unique id gives Internal Server Error. Alternative method with gmail smtp always fails as well. It's working on my already authentificated old phone, but cannot setup a new phone.

This app has always worked seemlessly for me, and is the only SMS-to-email app that hasn't generated loads of spam emails after using. This is an excellent app and s its good to see that the app will continue to be available even if there is no support.

It doesn't forward the content of MMS messages. It often works great if the errors are cleared in and the phone is been used recently. Once The errors build up it stops working.

Splendid app! SMS forwarding by email works well, and happens promptly. My only gripe, if any, would be the slightly cluttered feeling UI when you use this on smaller phones. It becomes difficult to add all the settings

I am using this app in my redmi note 4. It is forwarding only personal messages to a mail id but not forwarding other messages like., messages from banks, shopping sites, advertisements etc. This app was working perfectly with my old moto g turbo but now useless for me. Please solve this issue.
