Free Roku Remote - RoByte

What a life saver! I can't find our Roku remote control after home remodeling projects. Simply got this free app on my Android phone and was immediately able to access Netflix, Vevo, etc. It's easy to navigate. Great app!

Wow!! Installed it, opened it and it worked right away. No pain in the butt setups. Reason I downloaded is because I misplaced my remote. This is perfect until I find it.

You have to buy the features you get for free with the original Roku app. Also, you are unable to search and add channels. I love the touch pad. It syncs with Android Wear.

Roku remote stopped working. I found this app and didn't need to input my roku model number or anything! Worked right away. Very happy with this app.

Love this app! Lost my roku remote during a move, and this app solved all my problems! I've since found my remote, but keeping this installed "just in case"!

Would prefer to have this app installed to SD card if possible since it takes up almost 28MB of internal storage. As far as operation goes, it works as well as my Roku remote. The free version gives only the basic functions of the remote. To get the advanced options to work like clicking on a channel button such as Plex requires a $2.99 payment.

Base app is a suitable remote and better than the Roku app. Paywall for features is annoying and unnecessary. Shortcuts would be convenient, but aren't groundbreaking or worth paying money for.

I really need your app...because Im always losing my roku "clicker". I can't live without it...I've become adicted to tv with no commercials talking at me..so you are a life saver.I need my tv at night to unwind

This app is a Roku lifesaver. My kid grabbed our remote and tossed it into the toilet. I guess she doesn't like streaming.Thanks to this app we are able to watch our tube.

I like the fact that all I had to do was download the app and start pressing buttons. The remote automatically linked to my TV with nothing more then a download needed

It worked for me in a pinch when my grand daughter wanted to watch her ninight video and I discovered my remote was broken! Crisis avoided!

The app requires me to manually find my Roku's up address... If I could FIND THE DAMN IP ADDRESS USING MY DAMN REMOTE WHY WOULD I NEED THIS APP?

It works well, a nice replacement for my out of work original Roku remote control. I can continue watching TV through Roku with this APP on my cell phone. Thumbs up! Thanks.

I have the paid version. If only I could figure out how to install the "customizable widgets", I would give it 5 stars!

Very useful app as our roku remote doesn't work nd v had 2 order another one which refused 2 work as well..dis app has made it so much easier nd free of charge.

Works great, simple, and very user friendly! I have multiple Roku's, and it's easy to switch between them with this app! I agree with the other reviews, it works better than the remote the Roku's come with!

It is so freaking retarted. You have to pay to use it! Whatever,i am not gonna waste my time on this stupid app.why not just put adds or what not.OR HERES SOMETHING TELL PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes loses the connection with my roku but otherwise amazingly easy and convienant. No set up required for my roku just instant connection, really cool and simple!

So simple. Works every time. Remember to log into your range extender rather than your Roku if you have it wired though ;)

Love this app. The Roku remote is so small it is always being misplaced in the sofa cushions. This app is a lifesaver!

I think its amazing to have as a backup when you lose the roku remote or its not working. So, yeah it's pretty useful.

Well I rated it 5 stars because I'm not gonna hate on the app but you do know that the people who created Roku made a remote app and an app where you can change the volume and turn on the TV as well as some other things

Unlike the Roku app, my IP address range IS Supported (all of them are) so I can actually use this app as long as the Roku is set to "permissive" instead of "default"

Just install and it starts working right away. Pretty sure my toddler has put the Roku Controller somewhere in the house but its been almost a month now and it still hasnt appeared. This app works great. Easy, simple and does what it says. No frills...jusy works great. I have the Roku Streaming Stick. Thank you for developing this:)

My children somehow broke my Roku remote. I downloaded two different apps for this. The other one has messed up a few times. THIS ONE HAS WORKED SINCE DAY 1! I am so glad I downloaded this app! Thank you.

It's alright. I am still in the process of getting used to it. It won't turn on my television, but neither would any other Roku app, so far this one has been the better of many.

We currently can't find our Roku remote, so I downloaded this app. It worked right away with no set up and has been great. No issues at all and easy to use!

The ROKU remote that came with my stick was garbage and never worked. I didn't want to buy a new one so I thought I would give Robyte a try and I have been satisfied since. My ROKU experience is 100% better!

When I go to scroll to find a show or movie, it won't stop where I want, but it will keep scrolling even though I only click once. I am not holding the arrow key, so I know that is not the problem. It is better than some of the other apps, but I don't know why it will keep scrolling. Very frustrating.

They say no set up. But the only button i tried to push(volume up) does nothing but take you to a purchase page. Basic features i thought were free. Going back to original.

Very disappointed with paid addons. Only 1 of 3 works for me (shortcut one) with a nowtv box... Only tells you on further investigation that volume support for roku TV only... By the time you find that detail you have already paid your money. Extremely disappointing end to what was a promising product. Fully advise getting just the free version.

I think this app is amazing! But could you please add a screen of the Roku beside the remote because it's annoying how after every button press I have to look at the TV.

Excellent Roku remote alternative. Since Roku decided that their official app should be garbage, it's nice to find a simple alternative that works flawlessly. Don't worry about having to pay for features, either. The most important functionality is free, and paying helps support the developers.

I must have squished my remote and it would mean trying to take it apart, trying to reset it, finding the little box in order to 'pair' it again. Downloading this app was much faster and the remote was in control instantly. I purchased all the extras for $3.99, even though I didn't necessarily need them because I love this app so much. Oh! And I downloaded the basic remote for my husband's phone!

I simply like that this app has so many good things about it none only kind of used to promote for moving from Netflix to Hulu to the news but it's really fun to mess with my old man when he's got his remote trying to change the channels! BUY THE EXTRA STUFF IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Very good app. My only wish is that they changed to an ad based revenue service, as opposed to in app purchases. Maybe put an in app purchase to remove ads, but I think that way everyone would be happier
