Pasteasy - Copy Paste Across! for Android
FAKE APP. What a total waste of time. On first installing this app, it presents you with a barcode, prompting you to scan. The logical question is "With What?" since the barcode is on your phone screen, so how the hell are you supposed to scan it? D'uh! I just contacted the creator of this app, reminding them that they neglected to mention any barcode. Their response was to advise that the app be downloaded onto a `secondary device such as a computer'. 1. They neglect to make any mention of this important detail in their blurb on Google Play. 2. When you finally do manage to download it onto your PC, it has no functionality from then on. This app is fake. Don't be deceived.
This has the premises of a great app with the sole, big limitation that the devices must be connected to the same wi-if. Why? Why can't I just use them on separate networks? This should really be implemented
The good: Reconnects on reboots by either device. The bad: Breaks every time there is an update for Windows and insistently notifies on clipboard changes. Suggestion: Implement support for updates plus give users additional options. After all, I know very well that I copied something and that it has been shared, I don't need to be notified on top of this nor have things pop up in my face. Just include options to allow the system to operate transparently without pop-ups, etc. Also, the authentication system bothers me. I rather have a user-name/password option on top of the QR code to ensure only people that have this additional information can connect. The app itself should also support sending to via sharing to handle situations where copy operations are unavailable. Once all this has been rectified, then I'll give the system 5/5. Until then 2/5.
Incredibly useful nifty little app. Makes copying data between my various devices an absolute delight. Been using it now for nearly 6 months on my iPhone, iPad and now, on a android phone. Very stable, extremely intuitive to use.
Unable to share files from Android to PC anymore (guess it's to do with Android 6 update..), the app itself wasn't updated for over a year now
I tried using this app when my both the devices were on same WiFi network & still I couldn't connect - got an connection error.
This app is amazing. works instantly. been a while since an update, tho. sometimes the mobile app and desktop companion app turns off for no reason tho.
Could really use an option to turn off copying pictures. Basically to keep just copying text on.
only wi fi...what about tethered via usb or hotspot modes?
How did I live without it
Please add capability to transfer any type of file.
Very useful...plz add files copying capability.
Works well for me
windows client not works on win10. always crash.
The sole reason im giving it 3 stars, is because of the only method of connecting devices. My cameras do not work due to a defect in my phone causing it to reach temps of 107F. Sensors burned. So with that, I had no way of connecting to paste a link, so I uninstalled both. Sure the app is decent for the majority!
I'm coming from iOS environment, where this app had no issues at all. With Android story's a bit different, on my OnePlus X string transfer works flawlessly although media e.g. image transfer isn't. Which is kind of a bummer and gives this app bad rep. Waiting for the update.
Works for pics, (android , pc) right now you can rename the file extension to PNG and fool it to move files. Website is confusing, look for the download button.
Works for me. But I hate the fact that I cant take off that stupid notification that says pasteasy is connected. I also get a notification everytime I copy something on another device. Just work the same way push bullet did universal copy and paste!!

Says it is installed on my PC but no show,,,using moto g 1st genrtion.cell phone-downloaded that 1st-of course barcode pops up,,,read 1st page review where it has to be on pc for you to scan....tried taking pix of barcode on pc w amzon barcode scanner..no go what gives
Thank you so much for this app! After ages of searching, ultimately I can say this is the ultimate app of its kind ;) Edit: Launch on Wifi connection option is not working. Pls pls fix it.
LOVE this GREAT app! I have been using to connect several android devices and a few windows devices ....works very well. Thank you for all of the work you have done to make this app available, keep up the great work.
I was looking for universal copy & paste between devices & computer. Setup was incredibly easy & feature works seamlessly! I would love to have a Google Chrome app to make it available on any computer I log in to Chrome on. Thank you for making this app!
i used to love the app but now the program on my laptop won't start and it's frustrating. there no one to help solve this issue it's time to move on.
The PC version is NOT working at all. Namely, after I opened the app (after installed), the app appeared in the below right system tray, however, the app CLOSED suddenly everytime (also I noticed that in the TASK MANAGER, the app closed itself after it been opened less than 1 second. How to fix it? BTW, my PC is WIN 7 x64. Thanks
Giving four stars because there should be more options in setting to control save locations for files.
The more I use this app, the more I love it. Great for anyone missing the shared clipboard from Pushbullet.
Could you please add notification mirroring too?
Lovely work, would love the option to choose what gets synced. Text, links, images, etc.
I really like it! Makes things so much easier.
This app is the ultimate Pushbullet killer! Great clipboard transfer feature!
Totaly Totaly Fake App
I'm a Graphic designer and this has been handy
Make my life easier when transfering my screenshot directly to my article on Ms. Word
If this could only support a better history of the things and putting them in categories that were copied for future pasting and if it could better handle all devices. For example it needs to be able to share the history was still keeping the data encrypted. It should not rely just on Wi-Fi it should allow any way two devices can reach each other. For example if two devices are mapped to each other via Bluetooth you should be able to save a Bluetooth history and then create connections when you want to copy

This app does not work with Linux. You must have a client app on the computer side and it's only available apparently for Windows . There are many apps do not work with Linux and I do not give them bad ratings simply for the lack of compatibility. But when the app claims to work between phone and PC and I have to figure it out for myself that it does not work with my operating system it's worth a 1 star rating.
