NFC Alarm Ultra

This app used to be great until I discovered I could simply reduce the alarm volume to zero without scanning a tag. It's useless now! Where did the developer go? The contact email is no longer valid. Would easily be worthy of 5-stars if this issue was fixed.

Won't work for me. App loads, ui is clean, but all my tags aren't recognized. Wanted to set an alarm and shut off hue lights with a tap, but no dice on the alarm.

Alarm goes off 17-30 minutes later than set. Used to work great. Tried to email devs, but the email came back. The app may have been abandoned.

I programmed it so I have to touch my Bluetooth speaker's NFC tag with my phone and so I have to get up in the morning (I'm the worst person at getting up). Literally helping me improve my life!

Few days ago i bought puzzle alarm because it had nfc reader, but after i opened the paid version i saw that i couldn't specify which nfc tag can turn it off, it will turn off even on credit card, this app has feature to specify tags which is why i like it so much better than puzzle alarm, i now regret buying it, theres one problem, i can't reach the full version link on Google play, please fix it

Does exactly what it claims to do without any ads or in app purchases. Could not be happier

Continuously goes off up to an hour late. It used to work but no longer does.

I would like to be able to toggle the alarm active state without the NFC tag. Also, this app is lacking the android alarm integration in the notification bar.

Helping me a ton! I like to set snooze duration to 1 minute and make 3 maximum snoozes. BfF lives in the kitchen.

Major bug with Android M+ / S7 which must be fixed. Alarm does NOT ring in morning unless phone is plugged in. Great app otherwise, so long as you always always always remember to plug in your phone.

Wish there were some refinements, and I wish it was still under development, but it has been the best NFC app that doesn't feel bloated and that allows me to turn off the alarm with a SPECIFIC NFC tag, not just any like in Puzzle Alarm

Too easy to silence without nfc tag. Sometimes doesn't go off without unlocking phone.

Could have 5 stars but recently I have to unlock my phone before I can snooze. before I didn't have this issue.

It's seriously the best method I've found of avoiding sleeping in, literally changed my life from always having to run out the door without breakfast, to being able to enjoy a leisurely coffee, newspaper and workout session every morning. There are a couple of similar apps out there, but this is definitely the most elegant, I like how it looks like the native Clock app. Using NFC tags is a lot less finicky than the other main methods of having to take a photograph or scan a QR code...

My favorite feature of this alarm is that, once the alarm is set, you can not change or turn off the alarm without using the NFC tag. With other alarms, i would wake up in the night or early morning and turn off the alarm before it could ring. You can't do that with this alarm. Which is great.

Not working on Android 6.0 because of Doze (androids battery optimisation system during screen off time). I need to turn the screen on for the alarm to go off. Not very useful for an alarm... It's a shame because it would've been great without this major problem

I tried emailing the developer about an issue and got an undeliverable address. I'm having an issue where whenever I slide to turn of the alarm with an nfc tap the app kicks me out to the lock screen where nfc is disabled by the OS. So I always have to unlock the phone again to silence am alarm. Samsung S4

Works well; clean interface; sensible phone access permissions. The best NFC alarm I can find on play store. The one feature missing I wish it had was "NFC override" for if you would travel and forget to bring your NFC chip with you. It would have to some really complicated task so you won't be tempted to use it when you are home but too lazy walk over to the NFC tag. As work around you can un-install the app but downside is: 1) you have to download and re-install the app 2) you would have to setup your alarms again 3) you would have to re-add your NFC chips Also I would not require the scan the NFC to edit the alarm setting (time, days repeat) since those will effect future alarms.

If you are anything like me, getting up in the morning is a daily battle. Whilst the UI is better on the app than others, the actual function of the NFC alarm is flawed. When the alarm goes off, swipe right to NFC, and then you can turn the volume to 0, the alarm will carry on ringing, but it is now a silent alarm! I am running on 5.1.1 on Galaxy Note 4.

Used Puzzle Alarm Clock previously for the NFC functionality but it was buggy and had too much other cruft. This does exactly what I need it to do and does it well.

Having to scan an NFC tag before the alarm turns off is the only way I can guarantee I won't sleep in. I was using Puzzle Alarm for this before, but it was pretty buggy and unreliable, which is not acceptable for an alarm. This app simply provides the function I wanted and has never failed me. And it's free! What more can you ask?

Excellent app overall, nice interface and easy to use. If i would add one thing is that so it works while the phone is turned off.

Works as described, but i find it highly irritating that i need to go to my nfc tag as soon as i want to edit the alarm. Make that an setting. Uninstalled.

Works like a dream. Have the tag on my pre-workout and I haven't missed a workout or over slept yet.

Android doze currently kills this during the night, causing the alarm to not go off. Not the dev's fault, just a warning

Alarm only rings after you turn on the screen. Needs updating for Android M.

There is unneeded functions and I don't like icon, but this app is still good.

I have a hard time getting up from sleeping. So when I found this app, I knew it would help me out tremendously.

Elegant, functional, effective. Exactly what I wanted. Downloaded this as an alternative to Puzzle Alarm, which was having trouble saving NFC tags, and would just restart the alarm sound file when a saved tag was scanned, rather than dismiss (really, really annoying first thing in the morning). No issues whatsoever with this app on the other hand!

Awesome alarm app, it just works. I'm gonna stick my NFC tag downstairs - if I want to sleep in, I'll have to climb all the way back upstairs, mwahahaha. Thanks devs for saving my job!!

I had to uninstall the app because I couldn't silence the alarm!

If there is one thing I wish it had would be the ability to change when the alarm goes off without tapping NFC.

It does what it says it will do, and does so consistently. It's free. It's easy to use (basically just the stock clock app). I get out of bed now. What's not to like?

I can silence an alarm without snoozing it! And without dismissing it!
