Fastest QR Scanner Reader App

This app simply scans the QR code and copies it to your clipboard if its text. I dont need any more features other than that. Super simple, fast, no bs ads, and uses open source libs. This app is freaking awesome!

This is the only QR reader I use for years. The only one.

Edit: great! Doesnt realize my suggestion made it. But I still want everything go into clipboard, can you put in a setting? I also curious about any context outside your sample, like contact, email, phone number, etc...

The speed seems to be average for QR. Also it doesnt works for 1d barcodes. I still like it for simplicity

Way slower than other QR Code apps. Took a few seconds to recognise an easy QR Code. If this app didn't claim to be the fastest I'd give it more than one star.

But I would expect some better features like letting the user decide should the app open the browser or dailog, or not. There are no settings to customize. It's because if I only wanted to copy url not open, it's a problem I have to close the browser. Buy it gets things done.

It sure dies what it states. It us the fastest, I tried 6 other scanner apps and none was as fast and accurate as this one. I recommend any to use it. I give it 10 STARS....

I just wanted a QR reader. So I went to Google Play, and ran through the list to find the lightest app. Turns out that issue was the smallest, you see, all those apps where asking access to my... Contacts?? Call log??? Calendar? Wtf, why the hell would you need that to work?... What is acceptable: - Camera access; - Photo album access; - Wifi connection. And that's it. Any more then this, I just assume one's trying to sell my info/consume batery/memory. No thanks. Apparently only "Fastest QR Scanner Reader App" seems to get there (or almost there anyway). Thank you for the respect. I'm installing :)))

Far faster than any others I tried. Also only asks for permissions it needs - camera and Internet, not contacts, SMS,etc,etc that others demand.

I tried it. It's very fast when compare to other. But when i tried some what big paragraphs then only it generated the portion of the actual text.

What more can I say? It's very simple to use, just scan it and it take you there in a jiffy. Great apps.

would love to know why it keeps sending me to a: chinese, japanese, or some kind of other language site, for different items I scan.. :/ when it doesnt say it would do that.. HOWEVER! this app is fast, kid me not. I just wish it wouldn't take me to foreign websites.

Maybe a "read a QR from existing file' feature would add a star. Arlight, add a star for delivering a "no frill" and "low permission" app :)

I work in a bar and we use qr codes for customers to get great news on our offers. The cross platform integration gives me enough reason to promote this app on our walls

The little engine that couldn't. I downloaded 3 different barcode scanners and scanned two products with each. This scanner just could not scan the products whereas the other 2 did immediately and without hesitation. It just wasn't able to capture the barcode.

This application is very quick and always on target. If you work retail it makes things move along.

Probably the best QR scanner out there because of how simple it is. No messing around just scan and thats it.

Speedy bare bones app which, minimal permission requests, good gui

Simple and does the job perfectly. Not bogged down with unnecessary stuff and uses little memory.

When I pointed the camera at the bar code, the image on the camera screen was so overexposed I couldn't get a shot. Uninstalling it now.

check it out, all other apps require so many spyware permission. this one doesn't!
