I use this app a lot but have to now rely on the ptv rubbish because the sunbury timetable is completely wrong. Please fix. Thanks. ...... Edit, just checked times this morning and seems fixed now. Thanks. TT is back to being my favourite app!

U70%
by U####:

Don't trust this app to give you correct information at all. Timetable desperately needs to be updated with train times not correct and missing information. This morning the app was showing a weekend timetable. I suggest to look at other apps for your transport information. This has become a useless and the worst app.

U70%
by U####:

This app was last updated 2 years ago, March 2015. It's way out of date and the train times are inaccurate. Used to be great, now I'll have to rely on either PTV or metro website... Ugh

K70%
by K####:

It was good previous but now the train schedule is messed up. This is a huge issue, people need to plan their time ahead and get to know the right schedule. I don't know what had happened but please fix it, it's really irresponsible like this.

U70%
by U####:

Not being updated as time tables change. Frankston line still showing all trains stopping all stations, express services unaccounted for. Makes scheduling and chosing trains a nightmare. Sigh back to the metro app.

U70%
by U####:

Generally good Very hard to manage favourites, does not always show evening departure station correctly. Also on Hurstbridge line the 7:01 train is shown as greensborough but is actually Eltham. Now showing incorrect evening train times on hurstbridge line

U70%
by U####:

Used to be a great app, very simple to use and intuitive. However it appears to be no longer supported, as the new timetable from 27-Aug-2017 has still not been updated to the app. What a shame. :-(

M70%
by M####:

This app served me well for years and I still use it for basic functions like quickly checking next train times (except on public holidays when it's wrong). But the network map page is now blank, delay reporting no longer works and the search function is broken (going from Glenferrie to Ringwood tells me to change at Flinders St). If it's ever updated again it would also be good to have a white theme on the home screen wigdet to fit in a bit more with the main app and material design.

No longer maintained it appears. Dev doesn't appear responsive. New work? No money in it? I would donate for timetable updates. Please fix

Q70%
by Q####:

I use this on the Frankston line, and it had generally been very good, but the last few months I've noticed that the timetable is out of date, showing trains that no longer run. It's a shame, the app was reliable, useful, and easy to use, but without the data it's basically useless.

Timetables out of date and not updated despite requests to do so. Pretty much useless.

Love this app, usually it is quite accurate. Two cool things Train Trapper can improve on... real-time train arrival times in case they are delayed and a reverse functionality of locations - so that I don't have to return to the previous page to reset locations.

Just wanna say I've had this app for ages and i never really rate apps much. Tonight i opened trapper for the 5th time today and realised just how much easier checking train timetables is since i got it and thought it deserved a rate. This app does exactly what i need it to, great job

Y70%
by Y####:

This app continues to show incorrect data. On Sunday 21 June, it showed additional trains on the Hurstbridge line from Eaglemont to Flinders Street, including a 4.31pm. Wrong! There were no additional trains and no 4.31pm. What's the point of having an app like this if the information is wrong!

Y70%
by Y####:

The lack of real-time information renders this app redundant. I already know the times the trains should be at my local platform. What I need from this app is to know when they will actually arrive. Instead it adds to the frustration of late & canceled trains, a goofy ticketing system, crowding, and the absence of customer service on Metro rail.

Y70%
by Y####:

Mostly the times are accurate but sometimes they are not. I just can't rely on it 100 %. Also sometimes I get stupid times like the next morning when I'm checking in the afternoon when there clearly will more trains later that day

I hate ads, there's an option to pay to remove the bandwidth hogging virus installing, screen real estate stealing eye-sores.

Z70%
by Z####:

Information is not in real time. It's basically a timetable. So app is useless if there are any disruptions or calculations. Sometimes updates don't come through at all. Not a fault of the app, but still annoying.

K70%
by K####:

Just tried to catch a train to make an important meeting but to the fact that your app does not have an updated timetable I'm now going to be half an hour late. Thank you so much!!!!!

Y70%

I loved this simple to use app. But one day the network map just disappeared and I cannot get it back. Reinstalling didn't help. Today the Lilydale line timetable was totally inaccurate. Starting to fall out of love. How sad.

In the past I would have given the app 4-5 but since update, cannot set reminder for any train and app just force shuts. Supposed to have fixed one thing and breaks another :(

...such as: 1. Timetables on public holidays often wrong. (Wed 28 January wasn't Aus Day X2!; Easter Mon wasn't a weekday timetable, the following day wasn't a public holiday.) 2. No Williamstown line weekend (shuttle) times show for the last few releases/years (still in v3.2.4) 3. Can't update user-reported delays – if someone reports a train as late and it makes-up time (or gets later), you can't report and update this, it just ignores you. 4. With Android 5.1 it ignores user reports.

C70%
by C####:

Clean interface, easy to navigate. Appears to allow users to report delays but that information is no longer used by the app - I can't remember when I last saw a delay or cancellation message for a service.

It could be my phone but this morning TT was showing Saturday timetable. Missed train because of this. Couldn't find settings on TT to check what day it thought it was. Did a complete reinstall and issue was fixed.

Y70%
by Y####:

Sometimes misses services, like right now told me my train was cancelled then I saw it pull in from outside the station. Usually pretty spot on though. Love the live updates.

Y70%
by Y####:

Shows incorrect times. Early Sunday morning at white night according to this app my train wasn't leaving from parliament for almost 2 hours. I walk to Flinders and jump on a train that goes via parliament. The app used to be reliable and accurate, but it is now very unreliable!

Y70%
by Y####:

Does not have the correct timetable, has not updated, basically useless application. Parliament station, Hurstbridge line - Inaccurate

Y70%
by Y####:

Much better than the metro one. The only problem is that recent changes to timetables aren't being updated. Currently showing an imaginary 615pm from Flinders to Pakenham that metro doesn't know about

F70%
by F####:

Love the app. Although, there is a bug (perhaps) in the widget on sgs3. It only shows the times for the first train selected on the filter list, unless you don't filter, in which it shows the train times for all lines. Obviously annoying as this pretty much makes the widget useless if you have multiple lines selected in the filter. Thought I'd mention it. Other than this small thing, great app for Melbourne public transport users.

H70%

Since the weekend 24hr services kicked in today it doesn't show this on the timetable, and the network map still doesn't work. Apart from that it's a good app.

The timetables for my line (South Morang) are way wrong, and have been for so long now, I don't think I'll be relying on it so much anymore. :( it used to be an awesome app, so much better than the ptv app but now it's info as just as useless and incorrect as the ptv app, I may as well use the official one :(

I70%
by I####:

Just use PTV app now, this used to be superior - but now the times are wrong and the platforms are often incorrect. Doesn't work as a service if it isn't reliable..

X70%
by X####:

I have sworn by this app for many years and happily paid for it twice ... but increasingly it is unreliable and does not show correct time tables. Please fix it.

Y70%

Needs an update but usually this is my most used app.

A70%

Used to be the most reliable train timetable app ever. It is Wed and yet the app is giving me weekend timetable info!! Won't autodetect locations anymore, etc. Tried reinstalling, did not help.

P70%
by P####:

I recently reinstalled this app as l moved back to Melbourne. This time the app seems incapable of showing trains in the next 30 minutes even if there are some scheduled. Eg. tonight at 5.40pm it thought the next train was in over 300 minutes. WRONG

H70%
by H####:

This app is simple, it offers clean lines, and exactly the information you want, when you want it... support a Melbourne developer, pay the whole dollar and get the premium version. Then you can show your iOS mates the widget... ...another thing for them to get jealous of!!

T70%
by T####:

...but lately doesn't work. Stuck on a particular section of the timetable. Won't show me the trains I want. Uninstalling in the hope it works better after a refresh...............nope!! Still stuck showing me the timetable from 18.41 regardless of what I enter. Also will not show me trains going to Southern Cross, just stops at Flinders. What's going on? Update 8/7/15....Still stuffed!
