Phone 2 Go for Android
I've only had it a few days to check it out.. haven't had many calls or anything so I can't give it a 5 until I see more from it... but so far seems pretty great.. pretty cool really. I can call the kids in the living room from my tablet in bedroom, if I wanted to lol
3 quarters of the time when making a phone call the other person can hear me or it just doesn't dial out. Also for some reason I get told people call me and the call doesn't come thru. To me this app sucks. I don't and wouldn't recommend anyone to use this app
This app closes often in the middle of a call... It decides when I can make or receive a call this is lame! You can't change the annoying ring tone! I must stay in one place and not move when talking in this sense it worse then a cell phone! Please fix this!
The app freezes and closes alot! Incoming and Outgoing texting capabilities are good. But, if trying to make a call just give up because you cannot hear the ring or a loud siren starts ringing. Have had the app for about 2 months and haven't had a successful outgoing call yet. Hopefully Spectrum fixes this problem. Advise: Just use for texting.
Easily the $hittiest phone app on the planet. When it's not unexpectedly crashing on you AGAIN, you realize too late it was only distracting you from the fact it's disconnected itself AGAIN! If you're lucky u were only trying to call someone. Because it discarded the text it just told you can't be sent too, in its entirety. EPIC FAIL
Their shouldnt be 3or4 apps that customers have to download. If you have a phone you know thst just takes up space. And the apps are always not working. The operation has failed or etc
I know twc does not read the reviews otherwise they would have at least tried to fix those app. But people if you are trying to bundle and going to twc for phone 2go like to call international then please stay away......go to Vonage. Didn't want to give it even one star but that is the only way I could write my review and save people from this disaster stone age app!!!!So frustrated!!!! TWC is worst. But then what can you expect from a company that has nothing to be proud except that they are on time..duh......maybe a new day....hopefully with new name!!. Or is it that twc bought a new suit/dress to show off the same miserable self
Absolute TRASH. I have a new Galaxy S, and the highest plan for home wifi, but 98% percent of the time this app doesnt connect, cuts out, and doesnt recieve ANY texts. If a call does happen to randomly connect, the conversation sounds like your talking through 10 feet of human crap...which honestly is not a surprise at all since just like their tv programming, every single other app they dumped in the play store also happens to b complete crap. Good job once again twc...NOTTTTT
Works okayish. Doesn't stay connected after an hour of my phone being in standby. Call quality is subpar. Won't forward calls to my device even if it's selected. Takes 3+ attempts to log in without saying"operation failed". I can see it coming in handy so I'll keep it for now. Texting works fine surprisingly.
This app is a great idea and it would be very useful to have it, but it is not working well. Every morning when I try to loggin it is a pain. For about few hours is giving me an error message and saying to try again later. It is very frustrating. I really need a phone 2 go. This app would be the best choise for me. Please make it work easy.
Used to be better but recently you can't sign in most of the time.. It often forgets your already registered and your forced to go through the entire sign up process multiple times.. It makes you choose a name for yourself and eventually as your forced to sign up so often you reach your limit of names then your forced to delete the ones it couldn't remember anyway.. Kinda crap overall
When i try to login to the app it keeps giving me "operation failed. Plese try again later message". I have to try 20 to 30 times before i could login. Whenever I have to make a call urgently it is really frustrating. But once connected call quality is good. Also it is my phone - not sure why I have to logon everytime. Spectrum pls address these issues....i switched over from vonage...but this is pathetic and will want people to switch back
It's convenient when it works. Terrible call quality though. I can hear the other line clearly, but my voice often cuts out and sounds "digitized," according to the callers. Signal strength seems irrelevant to quality.
It's Manageable so far, but if u guys can work on the call quality and accessibility that will be wonderful. The calls doesn't even go through sometimes. I like it so far, it's very helpful just needs improvement.
Nice to be able to text and get calls to all one number. Calling feature is very flawed, it doesn't let you make calls most of the time and when it does the person on the other end can't hear you. App decides when to close itself, and often when app is closed the text messages sent you do not receive
Since spectrum takes of TW this app is got worst. When i make phone calls the person can hear me but i cant and its frustrating any fix to this. If this app works like it used to i wld b happy.
The call quality is terrible. Need to work on login part. It takes ages to login Update: it just doesn't connect. It just says operation timedout.
It's NICE To have a telephone company that could take with me phone wherever I go. But Now It's Kind of Wrong, No Reception, Neither At Home!
You finally added bluetooth support, Thanks. Now can you provide audio call audio that is ineligible? Audio is horrible with or without bluetooth. Pops,clicks, If I wanted to listen to R2D2 talking to me I would watching star wars.
Horrible app.. Doesnt work most of the time... Has.a horrible starting sound.. That sound sound be changed immediately. Not able to login and call from past 3 days
Thank you for making it it helps so much you can be using the house phone and use your cell phone at the same time can't do that with the cell phones I just want to tell you thank you and keep doing the great job and keep it up for us bring on some more good stuff I would probably be the first one download.
In the beggining it would sign me in easily but lately it it keeps saying operation has failed. Another thing i think it should have is the ability to stay signed in unless force closed or closed by signing out
The app is shutting itself off, I think it has to do with whatever security apps we have. Please fix it so it doesn't shut off by itself
Its using Unnecessary/Unrelated System & Private Permissions+Accesses : Device & App History, List of ALL Website visiting URL histry, ALL Running App List, ALL Sensitive Log Data, etc Access are VIOLATION of User's Privacy-Rights ! Other aspects of this app are ok : nice interface, it works, etc. When developer will improve & Respect User's Privacy-Rights, then we will auto update this review. Thanks.
Can I give 0? Nearly constant connection issues and if it ever does connect all I get is a fast busy signal. Cleared cache, removed data, uninstalled then re-installed and still nothing works.
Sometimes has issues connecting, but it makes the home phone service more valuable. Notably, I prefer the app's visual voicemail rather than navigating the voice+number menus on the home phone. This is nice to have around the house until we get a cordless phone.
I really do like this app for the convenience of having my home phone "with me" no matter where I go BUT, and for me a big but, I really wish that when you get a call (and don't answer) there was an option for the screen to go away and put up a small alert for new calls. I mainly use this on a tablet in my house and I like to always see the time, weather and a weather cam on my home screen but when a call comes in, my home screen is overlaid with this app. Would be nice to have a setting like "after 5 minutes" exit/minimize and put up alert and let home screen display as it was.
Works well on my Android phone. Do not use much since got on new cell service and data plan so am not testing it's limitations or capabilities. Best way to check voicemail while on the road.
Freezes, bad voice quality even on twc network, forgets setting every now and then settings like international calling and then to reactivate the service it asks to go back home and do that. REALLY BAD APP. :(
it wont let me log in, I cant make any outgoing calls or hear on the other end. I had to keep reinstalling the app not just clearing data cache ect to get it to work. It basically works when it wants to.
I like it. It's convenient when away from home but the call quality leaves some room for improvement. Poor audio lots of feedback.
It worked great in the summer on vacation in the middle of the country and winter vacation in Florida. It gives access to our home phone so we do not miss a call on any of our Android devices. Out also works great just driving around our home county. Its not a cellphone in but it gives access to your home phone anywhere I have been! We live in the Mt.s of the upper North East. I love it
I really don't understand how a big company can have such a bad quality app in place..
Works great...could improve sound, because if there's noise around you while speaking through the app, it's kind of low..would like if it was louder otherwise everything works great. Nice app
I like to use the phone 2 go app to make work calls from home. Quality isn't great all the time, but it gets the job done. Wouldn't use it for daily calling though. Update..... Operation keeps failing. Can't use
1. When calling out sometime hear nothing eventhough the person your calling answer the call. 2. When using the speaker phone feature, couple times within the call the speaker feature is ON but will switch to regular phone and have to click 2x to reuse the speaker.
Used to work, but no longer will allow me to log into app.
To many issues People can't hear me when I call out takes for every to load and most days doesn't work period
Recent updates prevent me from even signing in. I don't know what Spectrum changed but it is useless space now.

Has many issues. Doesn't work with Bluetooth headset. Contacts take long time to sync. Favorites list gets cleared frequently. Call quality is okay. Update - I had to rate it down further to single star due to number of issues popping up and previous issues reported last year still not taken care of.
