Countdown Timer and Stopwatch

(+3 stars for no ads or spying, tho) Navigate away to another app and it stops counting. Kept checking and only a few minutes seemed to have passed after a 2 hour drive. Therefore, it may have not even counted with the app open and behind the lock screen. Are we to keep the phone awake and open to this app only for it to work? Nah.

This is only 37 KB and requires no access to your phone - what part of simple do these one star people not understand? you want all the bells and whistles there are lots of apps that will give you this but also require access to all your photos and images and all your contacts and just about everything else on your phone. This app gives you exactly what it says it will.

But it stops if you go back to the main screen to do other things on my tablet while I wait for the count down alert me when it is finished. Sorry but had to uninstall

I use countdown timers to time my 30 minute break at work. When my break was over, this app said I still had about 17 minutes left. I was late back to work because of this app!

It stops working as soon as you turn off phone or your screensaver goes on. I would not use this app it froze up my phone I had to reboot.

It seems ok, but you can't use it when the app is not open i.e it doesn't stay active in the background. You can bet it definitely wont work while your phone is on sleep mode either

Nice, simple program.... BUT the clock stops as soon as the screen timrs out, and restarts as soon as the screen is reactivated - so time is wrong and countdown timer doesn't work.

I like it. It does exactly waht is says it does. I don't know why people complain that it doesn't have this, doesn't have that, if you read what it does BEFORE dlding, you wouldn't have to complain.

Anybody who would rate this one star is an ungrateful d-bag. It does what it says it does...FOR FREE...WITH NO PERMISSIONS! So rare these days. What more do you want?

While I agree with many on here about the limitations of this app, it is perfect for one particular task I want it for. Which is timing a one off event up or down for just a few minutes or so where my other more sophisticated timing apps are overkill.

Phone went to sleep with countdown. Couldn't get back into phone and needed to pull battery. Even holding power button did nothing as the display seemed to be frozen

Never beeped when the timer was over and it just won't work at all!! I hate it!!!!!!!!!

Don't trust this clock. My eggs are ruined now. Time slows down when phone enters a sleep state.

Nice idea. Simple to use. Nice interface but it doesn't work in the background so is useless.

This app really helps me at times and I dont care what other people say about not likeing this app (probably because it doesn't help them) but it helps me! Helpful app! ♥

An app like this will find far more use if it has some settings that allow to run in background even when inactive.

If my tab gets dark and turns off for one ev second, the timer stops. Super annoying

Whenever the time is done they don't have like an alarm to let u know when the time is done I don't like it and I just got it two minutes ago and I give it two stars!!!!!!!!!

As soon as the phone goes dark the timer stops counting.

It was slow to respond to touch settings sometimes. If I ended the timer early it would still go off. I've uninstalled and searching for something better.

Decided I put it for 11 minutes and when I went back to go look at it after 8 minutes my pizza was already done in the oven that I set for 11 minutes and its all black

The countdown timer feature runs fairly accurately as long as the clock is visible, but it slows to less than half speed in the background. If there were only a way to give this app no stars!! If you have an app included with your phone's clock, use it, and don't waste data downloading this one!

it kept freezing and then it sent me back to home screen plz fix that and I will give it 5 stars

Really stupid app... Looks good at first, but soon one realizes that it cannot run in the background. And if you try to make it run in the background, then this piece of crap jams up the phone - Or better yet, try turning the screen off (to save battery), then just watch how it crashes your phone when you try to bring it back to life... Seriously, this junk app is probably someone's first ever attempt at writing Android apps... Good for only if you are strictly into cooking hard boiled eggs all the time!
