About Tigo SMART
Tigo Energy’s newest mobile application is the most powerful asset management and commissioning solution for your Smart Solar PV array.
Install, configure, and manage your system all from your mobile phone. This application not only monitors your array, but enables you to interface directly with Tigo's Cloud Connect software via local hotspot technology. This enables installers to configure Tigo systems, troubleshoot system issues on-site, set up the connection to the internet, and much more.
Similar to Tigo’s web-based software you can see a system or fleet of systems with an intuitive interface. Once you download this application you will be able to manage your system on-the-go from anywhere in the world.
Your smart solar array, optimized by Tigo, automatically detects problems and will alert you when there are issues that need your attention. Once the system is configured you can see module-level detail and historical data to ensure you’re getting the most from your solar investment.
You can demo the software even before you’ve installed a system. Download the app today, and click the demo button to see what it looks like. You can also log in to our website, tigoenergy.com, for a demo of our online software.
Our basic monitoring service enables you to see module-level data absolutely free. Download today to see how to get the most out of your solar array.

This does a good job showing the status at any given point of each panel in my solar electric installation. However it has two major flaws that are really annoying: 1) If you start it up on a Monday, come Tuesday it acts like it is still Monday, and the only way to get it to provide data for the next day is to log out and log back in, which requires you to re-enter your ID and password (and if your email is a long gmail one it takes forever to type in) or to go to settings > Apps > Force stop on the app, and then start it again, which lets you log in without manually re-entering the ID/password but is still cumbersome. Most apps that can update with new data can recognize when new data is available (e.g. a new date) and many support a swipe-down motion or a refresh button to retrieve new data on demand. This one doesn't and it is a serious flaw.
