About Call Your Mother
Call Your Mother is a contact management and productivity tool, intelligently and automatically making sure you're keeping in touch with the people you care about the most.
How it works
Step 1. You select a contact in your phone and set a priority level on them (i.e. set Mom as a "High" priority contact)
Step 2. Call Your Mother scans through your calls logs and sent texts and looks at the time stamps
Step 3. If you are not meeting the benchmarks set in each priority, Call Your Mother sends you a notification reminding you to get in touch!
Step 3a. Saw them in person more recently than your last text? No sweat! Just hit "Seen" button in the notification and Call Your Mother will keep track of that too!
Example: If you haven't contacted your mom - tagged as a high priority - in 5 days, you will get a notification to get back in touch. But Call Your Mother won't notify you to contact your old college buddy - tagged as a low priority - because you just spoke a few weeks ago.
Possible Uses:
- Keeping in touch with friends and family.
- Maintain regular communication with important business contacts
- Eliminate "You never call!" from your mother's frequently used phrases.

I really want to be able to utilize this app to remind me to keep in touch with friends and family, but, like another reviewer, the app has never sent me a notification (even set as daily). It also always shows "Seen Elsewhere" when I haven't dispositioned it as that.

Doesn't seem to work. Have never been notified regardless of notification settings. Also displays incorrect last contact data for contacts. Notification day is not configurable which doesn't really matter since this app is basically worthless. In response to developers reply to my review, I figured I'd update it since he pushed out an update. The update did change some things, but in no way improved how the app functions. I have notifications set to daily and have yet to receive a single notification that I need to call anyone. This is likely because the app inaccurately has determined that all monitored contacts have been contacted within the frequency threshold, showing all with the 'Nice' status. The app shows 3 things it monitors; Calls, Texts, and Elsewhere. I have no idea what Elsewhere means and it isn't documented. All my contacts claim I have had contact in ~1 day in this Elsewhere category. I've attempted to email the developer at the listed email address, but all emails bounce. I wouldn't recommend installing this application if you actually expect it to do anything. I'd give it less than 1 star if I could.

Love the app idea! I would love it if I could add multiple numbers for a single person. Also, I am noticing that some of my contacts are show up red even though I called or texted them today. Not sure what that is all about. App shows that I texted less than a day ago but still labels as a "who?".

I noticed an interesting bug(feature) that it always tells me to call my mom (she's saved as "Mom"), even if I contacted her yesterday. I assumes this is because I should always call my mom ;)

The app does not accurately detect my text messages or calls often saying I called someone I didn't or refusing to detect calls or texts. Buggy, but I will keep an eye on it to see if it gets fixed.
