Wingz - Your Trusted Driver

First time trying it & really love it, love it! My driver was Resty & he came early so I had an extra 15 minutes to check in. I was really surprised because I WAS THE ONLY PASSENGER & it felt like I hired a limousine! He was a conscientious driver, I felt safe and relaxed on the way to the airport! So if you are flying out of San Diego & need a ride to the airport, give Wingz a try & ask for Resty!

I'm in Austin for ACL. Downloaded the app based on reviews I read. Got a discount code from one of the users, applied it and got a great deal on my ride saying it would arrive 40 min after I requested it. I had previously called a back up cab just in case. It actually arrived early but I made the mistake of turning it away because I wanted to give this service a shot for my future visits. Boy do I regret it! Driver didn't show up. I'm stuck now.

Created an account using Facebook on the web page, then grabbed the app to monitor my ride. App won't let me log in with Facebook Connect! It just sits with a spinning circle, forever. Have tried force-stopping the app, restarting the phone, and re-installing the app. No dice. All functionality of the app is gated on login, so this means: the app doesn't work, at all.

The Wngz service is great, but the app stinks. I booked a ride to the airport and the app asked if I wanted to book a ride for the return trip. I said Yes and it asked for the airline and flight number of the return, but would not accept any input! I give it two stars instead of one because at least I was able to book the first ride.

I've tried 2 credit cards, restarting the device, and uninstall/reinstall. I just need a ride to and from the airport for a work trip, and really wanted to like this app. Disappointing!

I'd love to use this app as a lyft alternative but it won't let me enter neither my pick up nor drop off points. Not much I can do with that. Fix that and I'll be an avid user.

After half an hour of trying to book a ride I just gave up. The promo code they gave me didn't work and it didn't let me add my credit card. I think it has something to do with my OS but they don't tell you that!! they expect you to waste your time and figure it out on your own.

App keeps telling me one of the locations must be an airport. How is Newark International NOT an airport? Disappointing experience first time trying the app as a 50% travel guy.

I used wingz to shuttle 25+ guests to/from a wedding in Kyle and all went well. Darla was extremely helpful as I organized the rides from Austin. Now my 92 year old father uses them!

Bad app and worse website, tried four times to create account and add credit card and Everytime would say oops something went wrong.

Looked for various transports from airport and settled on Wingz. Really pleased with app and quality of drivers. Definitely use again.

Love being able to schedule ahead of time. Found a few favorite drivers that I will be using. No surge pricing! Can't wait for them to be available in more cities.

No rider app

When applying a tip, the charge comes thru as a separate posting on the credit card and so it's awkward explaining the additional charge on business expense reports. Options: a) wait a specified time to close the transaction so the end user can apply a tip and have one charge, b) force a rating/tipping window to pop up when the fare concludes, c) allow the end user to tip before the fare concludes, d) any other ideas you smart fellas have, e) all of the above. Thanks!

Crappy service and cancels your rises randomly via email.

Got a ride to and from the Austin airport. Very organized, convenient, and safe.

I first learned about Wingz when telling a friend that I was unable to "find" and Uber ride at 4 am for my 6am flight. Since then, I only take Wingz to the airport. I know who my driver will be in advance (I can even request a favorite driver!) and the price they quote is actually the price I pay (it's not an "estimate", and there is no surge pricing). You can use code "heatherfe" for $5 off your first ride.

We had him as our driver, and he was prompt, easy to contact and very friendly. He gave us a free tour on our way to our hotel. He is very friendly and welcoming. He made San Francisco our favorite city with all the information he told us about it. I would definitely use Wingz again and will be requesting for him.

Just installed latest version. Can't enter any pickup location or destination. Nothing is clickable on the screen except for the cancel button and keyboard never comes up.

Driver and I get each others phone # - I am OK with that but I can see how many folks do not.

Love the option of reserving a car for the time you need to get to and from the airport in cities that offer Wingz. Cant wait to have the service in my home town of Chicago.

Im forgiving with a few application hicups when the service is above all others. Each driver has be constant contact with me about the pickup. My original concern was always about delayed flights, but that was quickly dismissed after my driver was present after my 2.5 hour delay and it was 130am.

Don't know what else to say. Typed in my card info and it simply didn't work. I can't rate it any higher than a 1.

Type in my info repeatedly and it won't work. Really.

Don't bother. The driver cancelled on me at 3:30 am for a 4:30 am pick up. They offered no alternative. I was just out of luck. I was just lucky that my husband could give me a ride at the last minute - otherwise I would have been screwed.

I keep getting a "Route not found" error when trying to schedule a pick up. Please help!

Driver didn't show. Ended up having to drive to the airport and pay the daily lot rate at an incredible price in order not to miss international flight. Do not use.

Won't find my address and can't click the go button. This happens both my browser and my app. Useless

Tried to get a ride and all I get is route not found!! Tried entering a place close to the airport and same thing!!

Greatest application

Family ready to go for a vacation, scheduled Wingz for pick-up 3 days in advance. Driver is late, I call him, he says he's not coming. No notice, no app communication, nothing. Terrible experience, don't risk your flight with this service.
