RS - Hardware Keyboard Layouts

i been needing thius for ages. i really dislike tapping out emails orlong text messages on my fone key pad or finding out theres too much background noise to udse voice rec. this works just great. Im sold!

Android's current Icelandic layout has problems. It sees ´ and the vowel on top as separate letters, which confuses some forms on the internet, it doesn't have the proper eth, instead opting for "đ", which looks wrong and has a different unicode entry. This app's layout has the exact same problems. It's pointless to me. I gave it two stars because while it's useless to me, I'm seeing that it helped others.

Very small install, go through your settings/Language & input and you will find the list is longer with more options. Worked for me on my Wacom keyboard (android).

I only disliked because this app does not support hebrew or arabic

I use it to add English to my external bluetooth keyboard CANYON (CNA-BTKB01B-AR). Jelly beans Android. It works great. Thanks so much.

Works beautifully - adds additional layouts to the physical bluetooth keyboard only, without interfering with the default on screen keyboard. No need to switch between installed keyboards at all. Still lacking many useful layouts - Bulgarian phonetic in my case. Would be great if there was a way to set up custom layouts users can define themselves.

Great idea. But it does not respond to hot key combination, which makes using it painful

It dind't add a single thing to my Google TV device running Android 4.4.2's input settings. Absolutely nothing.

Unfortunately, this project does not seem to be maintained. At least, I have not been able to get in touch with the project maintainer. And no source code has been provided.

I just bought a Logitech K380 and could not choose *any* layout in the settings at all. This little "app" installs the missing layout in the keyboard settings for the hardware keyboard - no extra app or input method needed.

Does what it says. I found this as I searched for a way to add Bulgarian Phonetic layout to my physical keyboard. Would be nice, if this layout be included in the next versions. Cheers ;)

I needed colemak layout, and I found this extention. It is awesomen now I can work faster. But I still need the ' over the vowels.

Looks & works great, there is a small annoyance, though. Is there any chance of getting a Slovak QWERTZ layout? That would help me a lot!

I just transformed my 10 inch tablet into a 10 inch laptop after connecting wireless KB and mouse and it is just amazing, the only thing missing and making my life a living hell is switching languages in the physiscal KB, it was limited to what the stock says untill your app came out ... excellent work !!! Just add Arabic PLEASE ... it is what missing in here ... 1.5 billion people around the world are speaking it ... ESSENTIAL ... pleeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaes :)

Its amazing that an OS like Android does not have good built in support for different keyboard types. This app fill the gap paerfectly, integrating with Android settings and without raping your address book or bombarding you with adverts. Thank you RaidSix. I can now use my Logik Bluetooth (UK) with my Lenovo Yoga 10.

Why the samsung galaxy tab3 does not work?

I'm using a rapoo 2700 on an ANDROID Mini Pc. it works great and I can finally type all the Italian characters without using strange workarounds. The Italian layout is respected 100%. It is anyhow curious that the Italian keyboad layout is not supported natively by Android

Works fine in Android 4.3, but 'physical keyboard' in Settings is not in 4.2.

It's one of the must have tiny useful apps out there .. but the thing is that they needs to extend their base to include languages Like Arabic , Persian , or even Urdu .. It doesn't seem too much work to me , and if it is , then tell us how to make it happen and we'd be much pleasured to help . Also .. I hate that their team reply only onnn Thanks comments :) .. I need to know if there gonna be any additions to be added .

I've been using a Bluetooth keyboard on my phone and tablet for some time now and it's been driving me nuts not being able to set it up in true UK layout but it seems my suffering is at an end thanks to this app. This is actually working very well on both. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!

Simply great! Integrates with OS layouts list, just install and use. I would give six stars if I could.

Tried to use it with galaxy tab 2. Does not show up as downloaded so i can not open. Would like to try it.
