About Wynne's Custom Dice Roller

Forget your dice bag? Playing an impromptu game? Rolling up your stats on the subway?
Wynne's Custom Dice Roller is a dice rolling app made by table top gamers for table top gamers and has proved its mettle in battle.

"Wynne lines up the sight of her crossbow with the area on the monster where it's heart is supposed to be. Every breath echoes dream-like inside her head as she focuses on the task before her.
Slowly, she pulls the trigger. It clicks, the feeling of tension, the release, rippling up her arm.
Her bolt flies true for the first fifteen yards, but an unexpected breeze throws it off course, and the bolt lodges itself non-fatally in the beast's shoulder.
Oh, she's done damage for sure. The rest of her party will see to it that the monster is quickly defeated.
She can't help feeling, however, that she would have dispatched the monster quicker if only someone had rolled a little higher."

Features and Anti-Features:
Makes you shake your phone to roll dice? No!

Currently this is a D20 focused dice roller. I'm aware that other systems exist, and may add features if they are desired.

What are users saying about Wynne's Custom Dice Roller

Does everything I need it to do besides make me coffee. The ability to group and label individual rolls means that I can tap one button to roll a full attack rather than rolling a handful of dice six times. Also works well for mages as you can tag the save dc (add bonus, no dice) or the total for your ranged touch attack in one button. All it needs is colour coding for dice damage types.

T70%
by T####:

The custom roll setup is perfect for my wildshaping druid, so I don't have to dig through for the attacks in my different preferred forms. An advantage/disadvantage mechanic for 5th ed would be welcome, if you ever feel like developing this further.

Only dice roller i found where you can create your own rolls. Needed to pick an item from a list of 396 items.

I agree with Misty on crits. I would add that this app would be perfect if it had something like "Character Profiles"--an extra tab where you can save many profiles, each with multiple custom rolls. That way, several custom rolls can be added to each profile (each profile being one character). The custom rolls tab would then just be a database for the custom profiles to take a list of custom rolls from. Another necessity is an export feature, for when you change phones; no need for servers and accounts.

Easy to customize and use. Now it just needs per die modifiers.

Does everything I ever needed, even odd custom rolls like a 1d36.

This is the only dice bag I found that does custom faces - thanks!

I set out to find a dice roller that could handle the complicated weapons & damage used in our game (multiple dice types, extra dice for certain mob subtypes, extra dice on crit, etc) and this app stood alone, far above the rest. It would be easier to read if the totals were first with the dice spam after. Ability to change text colors would be fabulous, as well as setting crit range, maybe with an if/then for extra damage on crit? XD

I love the simple yet functional interface

Good app but a little hard to get used to. I was making Custom Dice Rolls without any dice in them at first. But it's very easy to use once you're used to it and it's a lot easier to make a roll titled "Flaming Sword +1" than roll the dice and check it every time I roll. I still use real dice, but if I forget them I have this on my phone ready to go.

This app is wonderful; simple, fully customizable, and totally permissions free. The interface is straightforward and elegant, and performs it's function flawlessly. The creator of this app was operating under the noblest and most worthy of motivations-- They wanted a program that served a specific purpose, and they had no desire for personal gain. No ads, no monitoring of your data use, just an excellent, meat and potatoes program. Every app designer should aim to exercise such integrity. Five stars.

Does everything I need and can group together dice in any way I want. I wish there were more options but it's still great.

So far this is the only dice rolling program that supports A) d3's, B) d2's, and C) math/calculations along with them. Well done! No fluff, no muss, absolutely great. =D

Awesome, but needs the ability to recognize a critical threat

By far the best dice roller app for table top players!

It's simple and easy to use. This app won't turn off on you randomly. Also it's easy to set up complex rolls for all your dice game needs.

Customization is easy and allows me to have rolls handy for each NPC in a large encounter. Thank you for the excellent program!

K70%

I tried other dice rollers but this was the best one I found. What I like most is that I can make custom dice rolls easily (ie. d30, d20000, etc.) which is important for my homebrew game.

I like the white text on black background, because it doesn't seem to use up as much battery life. I also like that my phone doesn't automatically go to sleep on me when I'm trying to play. Nothing more annoying than having to unlock my phone every few minutes or forgetting to change the settings back. The way some of the buttons are labeled through me off at first, but when I actually started saving my attacks and their corresponding damages, it made sense and was fairly intuitive.

Thanks so much! I was looking for a dice app where I could throw a 3-sided dice and a 13-sided dice, and not a single app gave that possibility except for this one! Maybe you could change the display of the user's throw, but it's not much of a bother.

I70%
by I####:

It will allow you to roll any combination of any sided dice, which is what a gamer looks for in a roller on a mobile device. Not fancy, but fancy isnt needed.

K70%
by K####:

Does exactly what I need without all the bulk. I love being able to save my custom rolls, too.
