my 5 year old is behind on reading due to hearing problems he gets realy angry with reading and dnt want to do it this game he loves there is a reward system even if they dnt do the best it switches to diffrent little games quickly so keeps him interested downloaded and runs good on samsung galaxy 2 i would say to all get it so much better than traditional flash cards boring they dnt help with kids who dnt have interest this is great finaly a educational game my child will do without anger

Used to love this game and now it wont even load on my note 5. Everytime my daughter tries to play it, it acts as if it will load and just be a black screen. Ive tried to force stop, cleared data, and uninstalled as well nothing. I paid for the game so i would like for it to work for my 3 year old.

It should have phonetically sounded spelling for all words instead of using capital letters. It's much easier for children to learn this way. Also, being able to choose the game you want to play as opposed to getting what you're given would be good.

Great for beginning readers, this app compliments the work my little one is doing to learn to read. I love how it scaffolds to introduce harder or easier levels depending on how your child performs.

Initially I downloaded the "Monkey Preschool Lunchbox" on my iPhone when my son was 2yrs and he really enjoyed playing it, he picked up on it very easily. Now I've just found this one (1hr ago) for my Note2 and my son (now 3yrs) LOVES IT...!!! I wish THUP continues to develop more educational apps like this. Thank you I highly recommend this app to all parents.

I have this on my ipad and my kids love it, but having forked out to put it on my phone I am very disappointed that it won't even load. I have tried reinstalling several times with no love :(

Like all of the monkey apps it is engaging for the kids... I can only say 3 stars because when there are letter sounds there are 'uhs' after them, which is not good educationally. Some word sounds, such as using "am" and 'an' and then saying each sound seperately are also not appropriate. When there is spelling I would love to hear letter sounds not letter names as the kids touch each letter and then it reads it back to you. It would be nice if you could increase and decrease the speed of the sight word and letter matching as the words fly by. The word rhyming (make a path) is visually overwhelming. It also goes to the loading screen too often (monkey stone with light that goes around it). Overall it is fun for my kids, but I dont think it is as good as the other mokey apps.

Great, great, great app! Worth the two dollars. Do yourself a favor and get every one of the THUP apps with monkey. It's four of them and they make learning so fun. My two year old plays all of them. Thanks!

THUP games are really well designed and kid friendly games. No pop-up, simple menu, no in game upgrades or buys. They are educational and fun. As a parent I highly recommended any of their games

Of all the educational apps I have, my 5 yr old daughter loves this the most. I don't know why, but this entertains her for the longest, and keeps her the most engaged. I will say though, that more content would make it even better. Bring on an update that adds new games/features.

Kids love the game(of course ) . But There is not a way to just exit the app without just going to homescreen and having the application run in the background. It's a little annoying to have to go in and forcestop the application after playing it everytime. Besides that , love it.

Our son loves this app. He likes that it switches through multiple activities instead of repeating the same one over and over. It seems to progress in difficulty as tasks are completed. I like that the level can be set to the desired difficulty or the activity removed completely. I was hesitant to download it without being able to try it out first, but I'm glad I did. It's an awesome app. I hope they come out with other apps for math and logic. I do wish we could turn off the hints. The hints kick in a little too fast. There are several times where our son was sounding out a word and just as he found the answer, the game gives it to him. It looks and works great on our Toshiba Excite 10.

This app is great. My autistic 4.5yo son loves it. His reading, spelling, and fine motor skills have all improved since we began using it. As a parent, I really appreciate the design of the settings and support buttons. Great job with the development and testing of this app. It looks sharp, transitions are smooth, and we have not experienced any crashes or glitches. I hope to see more games from THUP very soon!
