Thumbs Up WineFinder App Free for Android
Sometimes you run across an app that is truly useful. This one is highly recommended.
This app saves me time, saves me money, and I always walk out with the best bottles in the store! The video reviews are great, and spot on.
$4.99 to search? If this app says one of the best wine in Costco is Kirkland Oakville Cab, when I know there is Kathryn Hall Cab on the shelf, this app is full of s#!t! Deleted!!!
I loaded this app because we are always looking for a good cheap wine ($10-$15). The app itself is awesome, but the wine reviews are not so good. We have several good cheap wines (also on the app list) we go to when we need an extra bottle from the store. We thought we would try this app out and try different wines, so far we dumped out 5 bottles out of five. I think you can do just as good by choosing off hand or picking a pretty label. Bottom line is go with what you know and stick to your old standbys. If the wine reviews were better (like real wine reviews from Wine Spectator) then this app would be priceless. Since it fails in this area I give it 2/12 stars for ease of use and a great idea. They should rate them on a scale instead of just giving them all 2 thumbs up.
Easy to use. Informative. Would like a place to save selections either from the store or from a search.
Great app. Hardly a day goes by that I don't use it. Thanks a great addition to my reading. It is soon handy!!
This app works like a charm. Can't believe that it was free
Here's a thought from a user who upgraded from the free app to the $3 app - these guys are legit. Most of all they provide an easy way to get a good value bottle of wine at the store. They've paid their cost back many times over. Love them! Their reviews are usually spot on. I've found one review that I completely disagreed with, but the good definitely outweighs the bad here and the important thing is that most of the time, I walk out very satisfied with the value I got. I wouldn't bank too hard on where they tell you wine is available at, however - I have found multiple inaccuracies regarding that information. However it is a good guide overall and I find ~75% accuracy, which is fine because if I can't find a particular bottle of wine at the store, I can look up another one! Two very big thumbs up to these guys.
Excellent app Easy to use. Informative. Would like a place to save selections either from the store or from a search.

Not as many highly recommended wines as expected. Bought a $10 bottle of 2013 Savignon Blanc that they say was worth $30. That was their highest recommendation for that varietal. Turned out to be nothing special. Very oaky taste. Value IMO was $10 at the most. Are the wineries paying for these recommendations?
