Great interface, it does exactly what I would want it to do as a way to scan my family photos - but the description information doesn't get set into XMP? That makes it ENTIRELY USELESS to me.

It made my battery drain super fast and made my phone hot everytime i got on the app

Does great. Save time adding new photos and they turn out clearer than scanned ones do often. I'm thrilled.

I now now who I am....there is no greater recommendation I could ever make!

Love the way it works. Saves alot of time.

My photos have failed to save on a few occations. Would love some extended menu options to try again but save photo on device for retry later. Great idea but keep working on the bugs guys. Also would love options for flash without exiting to go to camera.

Currently only half the app it should be as I can only upload photos from my device's gallery. Any images taken with the camera in the app always fail to upload. Considering that the functionality of the camera in a photo app is pretty important, I hope the devs actually sort it out as having to switch between apps (camera and shoe box) is annoying as hell.

It would be nice if there were editing capabilities to fix some dark pictures. It was also a little confusing to switch trees at first but otherwise its a great app! Very helpful!

I switched to US Cellular in November 2016. This App was working wonderfully with Verizon, but now with US Cellular, I try to connect pics to individuals in my tree, it does originally connect to them in this App but never syncs and gets uploaded to the Ancestry tree. I've just attempted to adjust the phone settings to sync thinking that will help, but the pics still don't sync nor the Shoebox pics Identify who they had been previously connected to now. Ugh.

Works great clear pictures and u can tag people n it puts right in your ancestry tree where it belongs. but wished they would let u put more specific places the pictures were taken at.

I don't have a scanner and this app has allowed me to upload photos to my family tree quickly and easily. The quality of the photos are not reduced either, so your only hindrance is the quality of your camera.

I'm giving this app 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1. I don't like how it automatically opens the camera when I open the app. 2. I would really love to be able to import more then one picture at a time.

Read lots of other ratings and was worried. Found none of the problems mentioned. I do wait for the cropping feature to finish before continuing, but it doesn't take long. I also wait for the save to complete before continuing.

Deleted this app for months because it was broken. Called CS and they said it was fixed so I reinstalled it and it worked for 1 photo and then the same issue, "shoebox has stopped " So please fix this once wonderful app. I would even pay for one that cost money because it was so helpful to my genealogy work. Signed: Sad and Confused!!

Take shot, crop shot, save shot and "Unfortunately Shoebox has stopped" If I was the only one saying this I'd have thought I was doing something wrong. Fix it please or remove from the store.

Like all the other feedback.. it's now buggy. Can ya fix it. Working it with Ancestry should be great...can they throw a few bucks your way to tool it & make it all better?

Having the only copies of some old photos I worried that something might happen to them, now my family all have copies too!

It worked great now it won't let me get past cropping the photo

Every time I hit next button on the crop screen the app stopps.

I love this app for the sole purpose of straightening pictures.

Allows you to take image, but not move forward to crop, straighten etc.

Great app for sharing family pictures.

This used to work now it crashes 100% of the time on a Samsung note 4. The upload feature works.

It keeps crashing after cropping the photo and pressing next. I'm not able to scan not even one photo. Fix it please

No frills photo app compliment to the Ancestry app to store all your precious photos. I have found lots of photos never before seen and saved them here. Worth the download!

Can't even install the app, it tells me i dont have enough space. I got 4 gb on phone storage and 26 on sd card. BTW, since i factory reset my phone, every app automatically installs to sd card. So i still have all the storage on phone even if this one wouldn't install to sd card. Disappointing to say the least. PS. Cleaned 80mb junk and finally it installed, but asking me to sign up. I don't even know if i'll like it and i already have to mess with usernames and passwords?

This app is handy but I have multiple trees and it needs the ability to select the right tree before taking the first photo. I now have various photos in the wrong tree which I can't delete

Great to use and so easy. Can you tell me why it is not available for a Samsung tablet.would be great if it was.

Awesome app so far, so glad they have this. Now when visiting family I have a way to scan their photos & documents to my tree.

Superb app. Makes life so much easier. Pop round a relatives get the photos out and copy them on this! Uploads straight to your tree. Perfect way to photograph memorials when out and about.

I'd give 5 if it let me upload straight from my gallery. Love the app otherwise!

Works ok with ancestry.. just get too many failed attempts at loading photos
