The Ductile Iron Strength Calculator allows users to access relevant information in a matter of minutes. Based around the four most commonly used grades of ductile iron, the Calculator informs users of the chemical composition and mechanical property levels associated with each grade, as well as the effect of section thickness. Also, the Calculator determines how the addition or subtraction of certain specified elements will affect the mechanical properties of the various ductile iron grades.

The Ductile Iron Strength Calculator app requires the user to log in and set up a simple profile. The user may use his/her existing social media account credentials (Google, Microsoft, Twitter, or Facebook) or create an account with THORS within the app. The profile includes basic contact information only.
