Meet me here! Send my location

This app allows you to send a message including your GPS location as link to a map.

You can either send an SMS or use your preferred messenger like E-Mail, WhatsApp and others.

You can choose among links to Google Maps, MapQuest, Scout, Waze, Here WeGo and the bare GPS coordinates. By default a Google-Maps link is generated. If you choose Waze or Here WeGo links the recipient will need to have these apps installed to use the links.

You can check your location on Google Maps before sending your message.

The recipient will get your message including the link.
By clicking on the link the browser or the associated app will open and he will see your location on a map.

Only needs GPS and access to a cell phone network.
No internet connection is needed to send an SMS. Internet is only needed if you want to use WhatsApp, E-Mail or other messenger.
No ads.
No unnecessary permissions.
No data of any kind is send to anybody. Except for your message, naturally.

Permissions needed by this app:
- Permission to access to your GPS location, so that the link to your location can be generated;.
- Permission to read your contacts, so that you can choose one of your contacts as recipient of the SMS - you can deny this if you want, but you would have to type in a phone number yourself.
- Permission to send an SMS, so that the SMS can be sent - you can deny this if you only want to send your message via WhatsApp, E-Mail or other messengers.
