About Walk Tracker by 30 South
Walk Tracker is a GPS based tracking app for people who want to keep track of their walking fitness goals.
STATS AND MAPS
Walk Tracker tracks speed, distance, altitude, and time. It also gives you a map showing where you have been while you are saving a walk.
GRAPHS
See graph of altitude vs. distance showing you all the climbs you made on your last walk.
COLOR CODED
When viewing saved walks your route shows up on the map color coded by speed. It shows where you went the fastest (red) and where you were slowest (blue).
VOICE SUMMARY
Don't want to look at the screen every few minutes? You can have Walk Tracker tell you updates on your progress either every mile or every five minutes.
PAUSE AND RESUME
Pause the workout to catch your breath or chat with a friend and then resume when you get back to walking.
LARGE DISPLAY
You can easily see your stats in real time with your current speed being the focal point.
UNITS
The supports both standard and metric units.

Very poor user interface. You are limited to recording a total of 5 walks, and you are never told that until it fails to record walk #6. The interface will allow you to erase an old walk, but you have to figure out how. Why would I want to buy an app created by such poor designers? Never. Use another app., skip this one

No ability to track total miles walked, even though I bought Pro version. And I submitted 2 support questions on this topic with no response at all. I had the iPhone version which showed totals but Android version does not. Not impressed.

Sometimes it works fine but I'd say the majority of the time it just resets to zero or stops by itself halfway through my walks. Therefore impossible to keep track. I wish there were more menu/setting options (like half mile or different time options for alerts) or at least a "report issue" option seeing as I paid for the full version.

I got this app wanting something to tell me now far I walked. I tested it by walking down my block. After I got back I saw the map feature it has. It actually showed the path down to the foot! It showed hoe on the way over I walled on way around a truck and on the way back I went the other! This app is way more than I could adked for!

I downloaded it tonight to see if it worked or not. Worked great till it just shut off in middle of my walk with my dog Jack. Uninstalled it cuz i don't have room or patience for apps that work half @$$ed.

I tried the free trial with no problems then I paid for the upgraded version and walla worked a few times and just stopped working altogether. Not cool guys

Nice interface and easy to use, but terribly inaccurate. It clocked my nightly walk at 1.5 miles, but google Track only clocked it at .9 miles so I drove it and my odometer marked it as .9 miles also. If they fix GPS algorithm this app would be worthwhile.

Its a nice simple, easy to use app. No snazzy features that pickle u. It tells you how far you have walked and what speed and has a small map to show u where u have walked. The only issue I have is u can only record 5 times before u start pestering me to buy it. All I do is delete the previous 5 and boom..... can start again without paying! Sorry but I dont think ur paid version is worth it. Other than that its a great wee ap
