Uniden AppCam Lite

Can you make it possible to have a select all when it comes to events. They can build up and having to delete each events individually can take some time. A real must for this app. Also having events sent to email would also be a great feature. It is a great app and scarves it's purpose pretty well. A few tweaks and added features would sure make this the perfect app. Thank you!!

The camera works great but the app to view the feed can use A LOT of improvement. The app drains the batter. To prevent drainage of the battery you will need to disable the app when not in use and reenable when you want to view the camera. This is not practical. Unfortunately, there is no other app that can be used to view the camera and because of this the camera will be going in the trash. This is the last uniden product that I will ever buy.

App must be force stopped to prevent it running in the background and causing a huge power drain, more than double anything else. Disappointed as otherwise it works well.

Help!!!! I have purchased a second camera and follow the instructions to add it onto the camera list. however I cannot get it to connect - keep getting the message "P2P connect failed. Reason: Device is not on line." How do I get it to connect.. some help would be great thanks. Otherwise I like the App.

My wife brought it home thinking she was getting a good buy because it was marked down at her job. Finally got it set up and everytime I try to view video it crashes. Pretty much useless unless you're going to view it live then it's glitchy at best and very poor sound quality. Think I will most definitely be investing in a better quality security camera this one seems to be more of a child's toy.

This app runs in the background constantly even when I properly exit out of the app. I have to go in and force close so that it doesn't drain my entire battery in a couple of hours. It doesn't make any sense why it's on. it occassionally will even turn on when i havent recently used the app. Certainly as a camera app it's concerning that it's running in the background. It makes you wonder what's really going on.

The camera records every minute, which eats up the entire memory card after a day,,,there's no delete all option to mass delete recordings,,,the email alert doesn't work,,, the camera doesn't record in color,,,complete garbage and a waste of money

Kept telling me I had the wrong default password, setup was impossible because of that

Where? App needs to be rebuilt Uniden! Can't rate an app that doesn't work at all.

can't use it. the startup wizard can't proceed as the word settings triggers android to go to the phone settings. I can't initiate the unit at all. worthless....

It simply doesn't wanna connect . It worked n now nothing...Stuck

I was hesitant to use this with so many poor reviews but it's worked fine for me. I use it as a 'granny cam' to make sure my grandmother is okay while I'm out. Works great for that.

I find this awesome. When I'm at work on their wi-fi, it connects via p2p and I can see what's going on at home. Can even get sound, though not high quality. Since I am fostering dogs this is great so I can check to see if they are being good or barking and carrying on.

Both the SecurityCamera I bought off Walmart online &the app From the play store is "Garbage" Do not waist ur time trying 2 figure it out. I recently stated that the App was not able 2 B installed on my RCA 2in1 Tablet like it advertised. Now Fast 4ward 1month later & I have my Android phone back on 2 use it. Well guess what people!!! Still can't use it!! So later I plan 2 take a hammer & demolish the security camera 4 fun and 2 release some needed stress this security camera has put me through. HULK SMASH!

Worked on my smart phone, but two tablets with 4.4 android wouldn't work. disappointed I didn't want it on my phone wanted to set up cameras to my tablets. Unless there is another app for the Uniden Appcam cameras I will be returning my order. Also not advertised correctly the cameras have to be plugged into electrical outlets so they are not wireless or portable you have to mount them close to an plug in.

The only I can't get set up is the email alerts. Other then that it works great

Company told me a the app doesn't work with Appcam 21 because of programming issue with app and working on it. Still not fixed after a month.

Finally got it got connect, but can't figure out how to use it. It takes pics and rscords, but where do I access it?

Works great on my LG cell phone. Picture is good and set up was easy. Not bad for what I payed.

Well like everyone else who thought uniden was a good product! If see anything with that name uniden on it turn and walk away! Or give the money to someone homeless it will make you feel like you got something for your money !

Worked great for first few months. Then about 2 weeks ago started getting non stop motion detections at night. Hundreds of emails. Had to turn my email silent so if someone does enter my house I'll never know and it would just record over it anyway. It's detecting dust all of a sudden when that used to not be a problem. Settings at 1 still get detections every few seconds.

Took me 5 minutes after I used the right UNIDEN app. For Android users use Uniden lite for setting your came to your phone or home wifi. Write down the user name and password, recommend you leave everything default until you have set up completely & tested. Use default password on app. Then CHANGE everything for your security; app ID user & password, name camera ID (door) & password. Now you can play with the camera settings, resolution, fps, motion, etc.

My husband and I love the product and the app. It was extremely easy to set up. Works flawlessly with our android devices.

Camera wizard gets to find my WiFi router and just sits there.

Will not allow you to use WiFi setup had to figure out the manual setting now that it works I cannot play back saved video app just keeps crashing

Just crashes on my galaxy s. No app at all for my windows phone.

I got it hooked up but I can't access anywhere but when I'm using the same wifi...what am I missing?

So easy to setup, first to its own wifi and then to ur router, and then it just works! Has some customization control, does all it claims with an intelligible guide too

Lite app

I found it very easy to use & I'm horrible at any programming of anything. Just follow exactly as it says. Not very much features...but it does what it claims..

Let's me add the camera but gives no picture

Picture is crystal clear with sound. Motion detect works great and sends me perfectly clear pics or film. Was a little skeptical when looking at cameras and seeing the lower price on uniden products. After installing the indoor cam, i went back and bought the outdoor one as well. easy setup through app. just need a router.

The app or camera is not at all good. I have reset camera and reinstalled app many times. Used guides, internet provider and tried to get help from Uniden. My phone (android) can not find camera. Four hours of my time gone! Will not buy another Uniden product!
