Touchpad for Android
Great, does exactly as advertised except for being even more convenient than expected and has no ads at all! For anyone with a samsung phone or other phone lacking the options button while on nougat, hold down the back button to access the settings.
I'm writing this comment using this app,in the nutshell, touch-pad is simple, elegant, practical and light weight with minimum input lag via WiFi. i highly recommend it for anyone who wish to control his/her PC with an android phone. my only complain is about left click drag which can be done by two fingers instead of double click and drag single touch, which is a small caveat. but overall, the best app among a whole buffet of useless remote control apps.
Pile of junk. This is the third our application I tried to set up for my disabled friend and all it did was piss us both off. The ip and port were correct yet it refused to connect.
I was imagining of such an app to control my laptop.... And one day i searched for it and found it.... Not like how i imagined it... But it works... Arrow keys of the keybord is needed.. And try to make it more smooth... And its disconnecting from server too much (annoying)..
Benn using this for a year now to use for my HTPC with XBMC on my phone and android tablet. Can only use one at a time, but thats not even a problem most of the time. Nice and very simple to use. Server errors are easy to fix, but annoying at times. But just it does need lil tweaks for gestures and pinching, as well as the scroll bar. I end up clicking something that I wanted to scroll and vice versa. But really, those are nit picks on my part. *UPDATE* Got a new phone running 6.0.1, and downloaded this app. I'm no longer able to access the option menu. Fortunately, I can still use my reliable GNEX7 and GNEX4, but unable to use this app on a ZTE ZMax Pro. Disappointed, cuz this was the most reliable app on ALL my devices, even an old TMobile G2.
It may be even better to allow scrolling at left edge of screen. I use the app in horizontal orientation cuz that's what the screen looks like. But I end up dragging on the navigation bar.
This is a terrific app. There is hardly any noticeable lag between inputs on the phone and mouse movements on the screen. It boasts an uncluttered main screen and sleek interface that similar apps lack. It's got all the basic features you'd expect, plus some additional functionality if you want it (including optional browser and media toolbar buttons). Sets the standard for touchpad apps - paid & free alike.
This app works extremely well for me. Editing the apps options may resolve some of the issues mentioned in other reviews. I'm running lag free on Windows 7 64 bit and CyanogenMod 7 on an HTC Hero. App runs on WiFi, I had the WiFi on my phone off and it took a second to figure out why the app wasn't working at first.
This is an excellent app. No problems installing (make sure your 2 devices are on the same WiFi) - very quick and easy. Works with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Used as a mouse it's very good - easy to use and intuitive. Used with my Samsung Galaxy Note I can handwrite emails and Word documents rather than type. This is just so brilliant! Thank you - it's made computer life so much easier.
I recently upgraded from an S4 to a Note 4, and because the Note 4 has a Recent Apps button in place of the Menu button, I initially couldn't access the options so I can connect to my computer. The ONLY workaround right now is to enable "Sidekey Panel," add the "More Options button" and then click that once inside the Touchpad app to access the connect option. I hope you'll update the app so that other people with newer phones can use the app easier or at all
Not only is this one of the rare, does-what-it-says 3rd party solutions, it also has some hidden capabilities. The keyboard function means that you can use Google's voice input through your phone (or Bluetooth headset) microphone, making dictation to PC-native apps a breeze. If you have a Samsung Note device, you can suddenly use your s pen as a pointing device for your computer. Highly recommended.
Drag ,click, rigjt click.not only working but works well. Thank you made this! Suggestions: When using keyboard input, couldyou make it show the input text on phone's screen? Because, you known, you can't see pc's screen and phone's screen at the same time. Two finger's dragging is good, but a little hard to draw something. Could you make it as theses: One finger stay and the other finger to draw? Now I can do that, but not srable, sometimes it do not work, and when it works, it a little hard to control.
& stuff. Get it? The PC server is very lightweight and responsive. There's no better app for this! Do understand that you will want to configure it a little to your liking, especially the gesture scroll width.
It's great as a touchpad no doubt with that but my problem is with the keyboard. Keyboard swipe doesn't work. I tried it with Google keyboard and got no response for swipe. I even tried installing SwiftKey, it won't even let me type. I know it's not a big issue for many but it is for me as i use keyboard swipe more often. Hope this issue is fixed.
Use it all the time but it only works on my tablet, there's a menu button on the navigation bar. But on my S6 there's no menu button so I can't connect to my pc. It also doesn't match the photos on here on either tablet or phone, I have a mouse icon in the middle and a keyboard button at the top - no music controls or right/left click.
I liked the simplicity of the app, but it was almost too simple, I couldn't find the options menu figure out how to connect to the server. If anyone has any insight I'd appreciate the help!
Can you please add a double tap to click and drag option? The problem with two finger click and drag is that you can't lift your finger if you need to drag any farther. It should click and hold on double tap, then release on single tap or timeout. Thanks!
Please move the settings button... Took me 30 mins. of looking up information before accidentally pressing the settings at the bottom right of the screen (I'm not stupid). Please mark this review as helpful so more people can use this app.
Up until now, this had been the best tocuhpad app I'd found. I use it every day to control my Windows Media Centre TV box. On my S4 on Lollipop, taps do not reliably register, which is incredibly frustrating. Avoid if on Lollipop, otherwise it's great.
This app is the best and makes my life easier but i have a problem thought, I'm unable to zoom in and out my web Brower pages or folders and I'm not getting a scroll when i drag the right side of my screen. Please update it.. 5 star worth app
this app is amazing. way less delay than I expected and it has a keyboard as well as scrolling and right clicking. my only gripe is that the keyboard does not work in landscape mode. (moto g2)
i recently bought a Windows 8 tablet, but to my dismay, there is no Swype keyboard for it. i actually prefer Swype-style typing to keyboards, but this tablet doesn't have a keyboard, so i was stuck with having to do perfect typing on a slippery screen-- rather time-consuming. the w8 keyboard also covers a lot of the screen, so that was another problem. now, I'm typing this on my galaxy s2 which doubles as a keyboard and trackpad. much better! now i might not need to get the keyboard dock. only complaints are that the frame rate is too low and there's no way to ctrl alt del. cheers
Keep getting error messages works good when I connect but keeps failing to connect now sometimes it just does not work any way I can go back to old touchpad? does not connect at all just gives port errors can someone help
Wow this is amazing... i am writing this review by using your app. Very clean app though i had problem connecting it to the server and at last do something for side click button...
It is so amazing but it only worked for a few times. Now it is not even connecting and i have not even changed any port or something.
Doesn't work on galaxy note 5. The app gives a crossed mouse icon and the keyboard shortcut... nothing else. No menu button, no right/left clicks. Can't set it up or exit. The app is broken
This app is exactly what it says it is. Just a surface which acts like a touchpad. It has additional features like media buttons, system buttons, but they are all optional. No popups, no ads, no questions, or offers. Just pure functionality, and thats why it's great.
Great app. Works perfectly as touchpad, when clicking on something you can type into you just click the keyboard and start typing, has multimedia thumbnail for operating standard multimedia buttons, settings are very satisfactory. Good settings for dragging with two fingers, scroll bar on the side, two finger click as RMB. Awesome. Only missing thing can perhaps be the unability to connect through bluetooth, but since I'll be using this only at home that I have covered with wifi, it's no big deal.
Great app, installed on 3 devices. But if your device happens to not have a physical "menu" button, like newer samsungs have a multitask button instead, you won't be able to open the app menu and reach "connect" buttton. Without that, you can't use the app at all. BTW, I wrote this using touchpad
I really want to use this app on my s5 but I only have keyboard, add a soft button for options, my phone has no physical menu button for options
Does exactly what is needs to do. No bullshit permissions, no annoying ads, simple in setup and use. You guys did a great job!!!
This app only lacks 2 things and those are Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to double tap-drag stuff. No lack of functionality by any means, so if anyone rates this lower than 5 it's literally only "because" and nothing else.
I don't draw on windows machines for obvious reasons. This requires windows so I require a different app.

Clean, functional, reliable, simple. I'd give it 5 stars if it had a list where you can save servers, and a way to more easily find the scrollbar in landscape mode.
Works great, barely any lag. Now I can control my xbmc box very easily without the need of external keyboard. Just one suggestion, ability "name" the connections. IPs done can be confusing, especially on dhcp. Thanks!!
On my opinion it's too good to be free, I'm afraid is server has a virus... But still using)

Smooth pointer flow, a lot of functions like scroll, keyboard. Works better than regular mouse. Totally satisfied :D good work developers!!!

This app is probably the best example on how a simple app can just fulfill it's purpose ans stay humble enough to keep away from ads and bloat. It's so rare nowdays it's feels like I've found a gem of some sort. Rly! It just works! You run the server on your PC once and Phone will super easyliy find it and connect just by choosing ip address from a list. and then.. The reaction time is so low it's probably reading info from the furute! And again, it's doing it over wifi! Incredible.
