The Villages App

Needs more accurate cart maps and VOICE directions ..

Since Google isn't very up to date with all the streets and house locations in the villages I find this very helpful. Only drawback is the screen doesn't stay lit during navigation without continuously touching your screen. Please fix and it would be great!

Navigation routes are poorly constructed with unnecessary detours and turns.

I downloaded the app for entertainment information. When I clicked on a movie theatre, I expected to get movie information. I guess directions are nice for the, comparatively, few of us going for the first time but movie information appeals to all of us. Next, I clicked on the entertainment tab hoping it would make up for this and the info never came in...it just kept processing. This app needs work to be truly functional and it's release is premature. I will be uninstalling it.

I can find all the "happenings" at each square. Great map too. Keep up the great work guys!

After install, a blank white screen is all you get.

I can't get it to load on my Droid. It just keeps running and running.

Can't even get app to load. Keep getting error message.

After downloading, clicked on options and nothing happened. Not a good app.

Worthless.

If you want to get around by golf cart use the Google maps and hit the bike icon. That works better.

There are no audible instructions and it will never give car directions.

No voice - not safe

This is a good start and glad to see it however the map clearly needs improvements first of all there is no audio for turns now besides that if you look at the map there are so many colors you can't figure out where the route is and the routes aren't always the best. The mph in the lower left screen shows 0 all the time while I'm moving. Hope to see these improvements

There are no turn by turn audible instructions when using the map function in the app. This basically makes this function of the app useless.

It's nice that it has all the locations available, but absolutely worthless if the directions to those locations take convoluted routes taking you way out of the way. It's 2.7 miles by cart from my house to Lake Sumter Landing. Your route shows as 4.3 miles and takes me out of the more direct path at least two significant times. Better off using the paper map.

This app is not ready for prime time. Very slugglish to respond, when it does at all. Maps look amatuerish compared to Google maps. Could not determine my location even though Location setting is ON. Events listing cluttered and hard to read. Had expected more functionality like club information and contacts, rec league info and more. But the only thing thats there is what's easily found elsewhere. Was hoping for streaming audio from WVLG. Looking forward to future releases beyond this Beta product.

Was looking for movie information but not there...had to down load the daily sun app for that...two apps vs one left me disappointed.

Took me right to World of Beer! What more can you ask for?

Excellent map service, much more reliable than Google tends to be around this area.

Works Great. Love the location features. Helps me find the stores I'm looking for when I'm in the area.

Took time to preview events I have interest in, put them in my favorites when I went to look at them there was no information or dates only the locations of the events, not even the name of event. Am I missing something?? Now I have to go back and research all my interests again. Why call it FAVORITES?
