auto bracketing for THETA S for Android
However, it would be nice if the exposure times were in normal camera terms. I knew the values from my own programming, but it's a bit annoying to do long division in the field. That is where the presets will be useful. I will give 5 stars when the program learns photo-speak
As other reviews have stated this is the most powerful Theta S bracketing app. Its only flaw is having a UI only an engineer could love. :) ANDROID 6.0 FIX: The app needs to be updated to use Marshmallow's updated permissions system. Until then do the following: * Go to Settings (gear icon in system notification pulldown) * Tap Apps * Tap this app * Tap Permissions * Toggle the Storage permission to ON That should fix it. The crash itself is due to app trying to load/save settings files.
Seems like work in progress. I could barely click anything before it repeatedly crashed.
The app is barebones and can be confusing at first. That said, it captures a nice range of images that I was able to combine into nice useable hdr spheres.
At last an app that gives wide control of all the bracketing possibilities of the ThetaS. I had given this 4* as this is the only app to do this so far, although this app could do with further polishing and explanation. It would be good to show exposure times in a more familiar way rather than in decimals and also to be able to save bracket programs. I have now updated my rating to 5 stars as the option to save and load settings has been added. Further Update: I had been successfully using Auto Bracketing for Theta S including the facility to Save and Load settings. However I have just upgraded from Android 5.1.1 to Android 6.0.1 on my Nexus 6 phone and while the basic functions still work, the program crashes when I try to Load settings and the ability to Save has been lost.I can still see the setting files on the Nexus but the program cannot access them for some reason.
Crashes frequently. Haven't been able to actually use.
This is exactly the kind of app I need for my Theta S. Unfortunately it crashes immediately when I press any of the on screen buttons. (Nexus 6p, Android 6.0.1)
But a little more explanation of the various functions would be helpful.
Great! Managed to turn off the shutter sound. =)
Please add predefined settings and auto! THANKS!
Amazing! I'm a VFX artist that use this to capture HDRI's on and off set for for IBL's (image based lighting) in 3D apps like Modo, Maya, 3DSMAX. etc..

Simply didn't work. The first 7 buttons were called new button and 6 of those resulted in a crash EVERY time pressed. The bottom two were plausibly named and did function in the sense if allowing value input but the text was so tiny as to be unreadable. Pretty awful it has to be said. Motorola moto g running android 6.x. I'll look elsewhere for my bracketing needs
