I like the app but after you read a certain number of articles it tries to get you to sign up for a monthly subscription which is B.S., all you have to do is uninstall the app and then reinstall to circumvent their attempt to make more $$. Hahaha

Good app. Obits need some work, but overall good

Good app been using this app for years. Never had a problem except navigation for obituaries. Love it

I most certainly enjoy seeing our local news every morning with my coffee. It's what starts my day. Thank you The State Newspaper.

When I want a preview of local home news I can count on the State

Mostly 3 and 4 day old stories. Where is today's news?

Great content without annoying article counts and harassment for subscription. Such as The Post & Courier.

The app itself is good My issue is some major local news stories don't ever make it. Frontpage major local on print version no whete to be found. Old news appears before new news. You have scroll down to find new articles Why would i pay for a service that doesn't show all the major local news?

I like to look through the headlines, but am very limited to articles as I don't have a subscription. I live out of state, but grew up in SC and like to keep up without paying for a service I only use on occasions.

The app has improved greatly over the last few years. It's user-friendly and features most of the articles available in the print version, as well as breaking news.

Once you've reached your limit on how many stories you've read one must pay $1.99 a month for access.

All of your articles come up fast except the obituaries. They just roll and roll. Sometimes takes 3 tries during the day to see them. If they improve I will change it to 5 stars.

The new version no longer supports reading in Portrait mode. For me this is no longer a working app.

The new version seems to have crippled the accelerometer such that the screen display does not rotate when the device does.
