Postman - Spam Blocker Premium

Used free version. It's easy and it does what it should using default settings. Just upgraded because it is so nice not to worry about SMS spam.

This app works perfectly. No more spam texts disturbing me they all go into a nice quiet place where I can review them if necessary and delete them all with ease. I would recommend checking through them once in a while as it also blocks anything not in your contact list or not yet marked as not spam. But at least the annoyance has completely vanished

I Installed this app on my new Sony Xperia Z3 Compact... Use to have it on my Samsung S3 with no problems... But with the Z3 Sony Compact it keeps popping up "Default App currently is Postman"... "Tap to change".... I have set that postman is set to the default already.... Why am I having this problem?? My phone has the latest updates.... I was happy with it on my S3.... If this cannot be resolved, I will ask for a refund.

6/2014 It was awesome and worked fine . Untill around 3 months ago I dont know what went the wrong is it the app update? Or the kitkat update? . Now the app is useless on Note 3 :(( ------- review update 7/2014. Now it works fine there are some app changes but as long as it works and cleans the inbox then thats great . Thank you app developer

But not so good at NOT notifying me. Every time I receive spam the app uses my regular message tone instead of my chosen silence. 5 star app if you fix that bug.

The application filters the spam but can't send a message. Every time you need to send a message you have to switch back to the basic message app of the phone. This is not practical at all.

Does the job great where other apps have let me down. You just need to spend a little time on the tutorial then your off and running

It works, but the interface is very, very clunky on my Sony Xperia Z2 alongside Google Hangouts. Every time I receive messages from an unknown contact, I have to jump through hoops changing my messaging app at least twice to see the message. The notifications of new messages can't come from Hangouts, only from Postman -- which doesn't show the message contents on my phone's lock screen or Android Wear device, even for known senders. The new message notification doesn't clear when I read messages, and since the last Hangouts update, Hangouts is *unebelievably* slow whenever Postman is enabled. I paid for this, but I'm uninstalling it just days later and living with the security risk rather than dealing with the endless pain.

Postman Blocks all spam sms. I bought the full version and satisfied. It works just perfect on Xperia Z2. I hope in the future the app could block unknown as well.

Works perfect, in my case the wrong people obtained my number and I get six spam texts s day, without being distracted, and if you decide they aren't spam you just click not spam, then that sender goes to your inbox, simple

Great app. Works on my Samsung S3 and Note 2. I would like the option to be able to block a number but leave off the last 4 digits. These are google mesages. App works world wide. Thank you.

The app works great and does exactly what it says it will do. I nope they continue to improve it. Would be nice to see some more options in the settings to let you setup filters and customize it more but it has worked great for me so far!

I don't often pay for apps, but this is so good, is worth the price! A little messing to get it running on kitkat, but it's worth it!

Don't search more for similar application. Install PostMan with confidence to solve your spam messages.

I am a lot bothered by 100s of spams each day. Most of the apps require us to train them first for which all numbers to be blocked. As we can't predict a new number this is very difficult and each time we have to add new number in reject list. Postman by default take all the unknown numbers as spam. Its much easier to train an app to identify which message is not a spam, rather than telling which is a spam. The switching back to and from default messaging app is anyway a disadvantage of this app.

Saves my nerves after spammers make intrusions into my personal space via sms messages. Strongly recommended =)

Default SMS App To perform certain actions Postman temporarily needs to be set as the Default SMS app. Setting Postman as the Default SMS app has no side effects whatsoever. Once the action is completed you will be prompted to revert back to your SMS app. This is my complain. why it is done temporary ? ICS was straight forward. set and forget.

After downloading this software nothing on it worked. I tried to get a fefund and could't! To make matters worse when I tried to get back online and delete it I was taken to a upgrade screen. I decieded like an idiot to upgrade the program in hopes that it would then work but it didn't! Stay away from this junk program!

Great app. My SMS inbox is squeaky clean. The app is easy to use and seems to "just work".

Just what I needed after I started to get bombarded with spam texts. The only extra feature I could ask for would be a seamless way to report the spam to my phone provider. When I only got occasional spam I always did this to help the networks fight back and I'd love to be able to do it easily here. I used to forward each spam and now they are in the postman inbox it's not possible. However, app is great :)

Nothing wrong with the app. Its detection was always very good. I've been using it for years and I always loved it. The problem is with Kit Kat. Its messaging program doesn't allow any SMS spam filter to function. This app works around that by increasing the number of clicks needed to delete spam from the inbox. Other apps I've seen completely replace the messaging app with their own, so Postman's solution is slightly more elegant. Anyway, gone are the days of convenient and unobtrusive SMS spam filtering.

Used to love the app n got even premium..now it sucks... y no update for last 16 months? I do understand abt the kitkat issue...but i gt lolipop..y cnt it just be like the old one ?

This program wants to be your default SMS messenger that is the only way you can clear the spam from your Inbox. If it is the default messenger then there should be an inbox on some menu on the program but I can't find one so I can only see my filtered texts that I want to get rid of but I can't find where to get a list of the SMS messages I want to read. So I have to change the default to this program to make it work and then I have to go back to the other SMS program to read my text.

Cuts those pesky spam texts out. I love having the option to whitelist any message in the inbox with a single click. Wouldn't want a phone without it.

Silently blocks messages from unknown senders for me. I couldn't really ask for more.

My verdict is,ok but I don't want to get notified when I get the spam text, plus there's a rather annoying notice of a new message when it was already moved to the spam folder. I really was looking for this app to do it's job.

App worked perfectly on previous version of Android but lately become a very manual process switching between default messaging app. Please fix..

Does it's job except for the endless irritating shifting between default and this inbox..

You have to change your default messaging application every time you want to remove a spam message. So it is useless and I regret buying it.

Worth every penny now I can sleep if I forget to silence my phone at night

test it for few weeks, works great, keep spam sms away and yet u can easily read them if u want, mark as read is great feature also, whitelist is available for ur bank sms for example. one thing if possible to be added, in the notification when it show there is a spam message, it will helpful to show part of the message, the first few words maybe, other than, great app :-)
