I've been using the app for over a week now and while it separates spam, it doesn't eliminate or stop it from coming to your messaging app inbox again. Even if a spam sender is identified, their subsequent messages still keep coming to my messaging app inbox. What's the point of that? Spam isn't eliminated - in fact I spend twice the amount of time now seeing it in my messaging inbox, switching to Postman to move the spam and then switching back to my messaging app, only to find that when the next spam message comes from that same sender, it's in my messaging app inbox and I have to repeat the process all over again. Instead, once a spammer is identified, their messages shouldn't come to my inbox again but should directly go to the Postman spam folder. I cant even keep Postman as my default messaging app as sending messages is disabled there. So I have to keep switching between my messaging app and Postman. But even the switching would be okay if messages from already identified spammers would go straight to the spam folder. They don't, and keep appearing in my messaging app. Instead of identifying non-spammers, it would make more sense to be able to identify spammers, send them to the spam folder and then have all further messages sent by that sender automatically sent to the spam folder too. Hoping you'll work out a way to do this and make the app actually effective and more convenient to use.

Please just use the old style system.. Latest update make this annoying.

T70%

Followed the instructions closely. Every other spam still gets through. Basically the trusted sender list doesn't work. It's slightly better than nothing. Still beats apps that take over your actual sms app.

Nice app. It works alongside your default messages app. It can sometimes be annoying to go back and forth between the two (like when you want to mark a message as "Not Spam") but otherwise it works well.

So far I'm just a bit upset I have to wait for another text to block a number. Otherwise it's simple to use.

I didn't know that texting would be disabled with this app, which is unfortunate . And yes I did read the instructions and watch the tutorial.

How can a paid app keep bombarding it's page with commercial adds? Also, what's the use of such an app that is designed to keep notification away from its users and their inbox more free, in fact notify us even when we receive an SMS from a party that has been already classified as spam!?

K70%
by K####:

Installed yesterday. Seems to recognize spam texts well enough. However just today, received a Spam from a known spammer. It was one of the spam numbers that was caught during yesterday's install/inbox cleaning. Today's spam was caught in Postman's inbox, however this spam - again from same 4-time spammer already recognized, still came to my default text Message. What's the point of catching it as spam if it still comes through to me as an annoyance to my text messaging app? If you care to answer, please do so. I have seen this standard "go to the website for the tutorial or email us response". Obviously we already did or we would not ask here. Please do not give this standard answer or that will tell me all I need to know. Thank you.

Doesn't work on my Android & I followed the instructions carefully. Also doesn't allow me to delete one message at a time, but only ALL threads entirely. Was entirely useless for me. Uninstalled.

Not for me. I'm on a Android Nougat 7.1.1 phone. On installing, the app would not start, and would present me with a blank screen, and then stop. Got it working by accident through the widget. It works fine in terms of filtering out texts that were sent from unknown senders, but there are a lot of turn-offs for me. 1. If you want to remove a sender's messages from spam, you HAVE TO add them to the whitelist. If you mark them as 'Not Spam' & choose not to add them to the whitelist, then the same messages will keep getting detected as spam over and over again. There are many instances where I want to save one or two messages from a sender, but not all. If I choose to mark a message as Not Spam, it should not be detected again as spam. 2. App is super sluggish and stops responding frequently. My phone has 6GB memory. No way it should be lagging so hard. 3. Notifications are sticky. This means I cannot ignore all those messages I marked as 'Not spam', that got detected again as spam. Unless I move them to the app's spam folder, the notifications are not going away. Sorry, but not for me. I hope the developer makes the app easier to work with in the future. I'd try it again if so.

Retarded design. Can't do anything. Starts with a wall of text on how to use app. No place to access the texts. You have to hit the back button in order to get there but it never tells you that, you have to guess. Then it tells you to go to Settings and it's nowhere to be found, probably hidden in some stupid way as well. All they had to do was allow people to mark messages as spam, but that's way to hard to understand for this clueless developer.

It works well however, unknown texts from non contact numbers still appear in my sms- getting notified twice. I have followed instructions to a tea. I have Samsung GS edge 6. I will keep trying to redo instructions though I have multiple times.

sender still recive a confirmation for delivering sms so...it s a sms hider not blocker guys.stop telling lies and spare us from wasting data plan.

K70%
by K####:

It can't block messages with not-numbered sender (like name of the advertiser) and there's no option to block message by text contained. I've seen the tutorial and it doesn't help. Messages with non-numbered sender are not seen by TextBlocker.
