Sunrise Sunset Widget only needs access to your phone's coarse location and calculates the solar position taking into account:

-Position in Solar Cycle
-Eccentricity of Earth's orbit

I have a Samsung s5 and this app crashes at least once a day, and I haven't seen an update once in the six months I've had it. Uninstalling until there's a new version.

This widget has absolutely no settings or customization. It will not refresh the sunrise/sunset time if it has detected that your location is wrong. Don't spend your money on this widget.
