Have you ever had a problem finding your car?
Or been lost in a city with no directions?
Or just been finding nearby places in your current location?
Then this is the app you need and should have on hand! It has a street view window that updates according to your position and orientation, and an eye view simulation of where you are heading. Just perform a long click on the map and pick a choice:
1. Put a pinpoint anywhere on the map to mark your destination place and the navigation arrow will guide you.
2. Or get a full screen of street view panorama, if available.
And if you are just exploring nearby places, Instago service will help you finding them. (This feature is limited in the free version for 50 sec). More info (contact, website, thumbnail) about found place you get when you click it.
Tips: If your cell's orientation sensor does not work well, make an eight movement with your cell in order to recalibrate it.

Not the easiest to use. Lots of potential it seems. Could take over Google maps in certain situations if it improves though. Also the constant Java script requests are annoying.

Sadly, doesn't work. No street view. And this gigantic, blue, "location" arrow in the app, is obtrusive and useless. Don't believe a simple upgrade will be enough. App must be completely retooled.

Seriously, I just had this idea last night, 1 day before learning about this app on Dripper. See how this fits into your plans to round-out the app. I don't want to see what's in front of me already, unless I've been stuffed into the trunk. When navigating, what I need is a street view of the upcoming turn I'll be instructed to make. Together with the map itself and verbal instruction, a view of the interchange (in the near future) ahead would be a great add. You might even just have the street view always show whats ahead by about 10-15 seconds. Good luck!
