Please note:
- MobileNoter SE HD doesn’t support MS Office 2013 format yet. Format of the notebooks created or opened in MS Office Web Apps is being changed to MS Office 2013. This can cause sync issues with SkyDrive. You can still convert your notebooks to MS Office 2010 format. Please visit our blog at http://www.mobilenoter.com/Blog.
- Do not use both MobileNoter SE and MobileNoter SE HD on the same device. This can cause unexpected results of the notebooks sync.
- We always recommend our users to backup OneNote files regularly especially when sharing them between several applications.

This app is useless with the current version of OneNote. Why use this app when Microsoft has now released an official OneNote app. The Microsoft app if by far better than this one.

This app is useless. Not compatible with onenote 2007 nor 2013. I try to create new pages, and I can't see the text when I'm writing?!?!?! Worst 15 dollars I've ever spend

$15 and can't connect to files on a network drive? This should be a easy function to add

Makes this app dependent on using the MS cloud to create notebooks, which is under editable for me. Please consider adding this capability.

I was excited that I can sync my OneNote data with both dropbox and Skydrive. Tried so many times to integrate the app with OneNote after spending $14 since 2013? What a ripp off my hard earned money. I am uninstalling now. Patience of 2yrs without improvement is TOO MUCH

I was expecting more for a 15$ app... I'll stick to the basic and limited onenote app that I least does not delete my notes!

Working well but have yet to try sync back to the cloud. Would love to be able to adjust the page split width by dragging as it's too narrow for me right now, especially in portrait mode. Would also love to be able to add/insert images and attachments to notes from within the app. The first would make it four stars from me and the second five stars as I could dump my laptop entirely then.

by Q####:

Is better than I originally thought. It could not open OneNote 2010 templates on MS website but it appears those templates are actually Onenote 2007 templates. Once I converted my notes to 2010, they loaded fine. I have changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Will continually update as it improves.

The sync is terrible which was my primary reason for buying. I wished I could get refund.

Updated: August 2012 In my previous review (Feb 2012), I'd said there was potential for this package; The primary point were that it could pretty much display any Onenote page (unlike the Microsoft offering). Now, I retract that. During the last 6 months, MobileNoter gained the ability to take notes (you may think that a note taking package should have offered that from day one...). Unfortunately, those notes will probably be deleted silently as soon as the file is synchronised with the online copy. Seriously, the sync system is so poor it appears to only date compares the whole file of notes. Further, certain note sections (from Skydrive) that appear one day, will vanish from MobileNoter the next. Honestly, this is a package that will fail to show you your data and without warning just delete the notes you have taken. Data integrity should be the number one aim of any product of this nature - this fails. It may be possible to forgive the ropey UI or the diabolically slow performance, but data loss is unforgivable. Quite simply, this should not be on sale.

I bought MobileNoter SE about a year ago and was extremely dissatisfied. After the OneNote app was released, I thought that I would not use MobileNoter again. I recently changed jobs and am now in a position where I have to keep track of overwhelming amounts of information on my mobile devices. I tried to use Evernote, NoteEverything, Catch and just about everything else, but I was not satisfied with any of these. I found myself wishing for OneNote, my top choice on the PC. As the pressure mounted, I found myself looking at MobileNoter again, and being desperate, bought the HD version for my tablet. The Developer has not been sitting around the last year. I found that nearly every issue I had with the earlier versions were no longer problems. The editing process is much more intuitive now. The ability to sync quickly has been introduced, and I can now add sections (and blank pages). Although, the product is not yet perfect, it is now usable. If I could add pages without having to add a new section, and use templates, I would give this app 5 stars. Nice work. I can't wait to get my hands on 4.1 SE HD and use the video.

There are features which need to be improved, but they are on the right path.

Q70%

Bought it, tried to work with it for couple of weeks, deleted it. It is terrible. Editing is extremely basic and still not working properly. Homepage looks nice but not thought trough. Syncing cripled my notes. I regret paying for it. Am now using benote for a month, have 100 notes converted to it and created around 50 new. Works like a charm. This one definitely does not!

But cannot sync with Office 365. My team keeps notes on Office 365 so this would be perfect.

Q70%

My complaints are similar to every one else here. I tried for a year to use this app even with it's faults and just can't take it anymore.

Q70%
by Q####:

Syncs much better with Dropbox than the microsoft option which is much slower. Dropbox takes moments. I have switched to Microsoft because I have OneNote on my tablet and it requires microsoft sync. MobileNoter has many more features than Adroid OneNote except creating notebooks, tabs and pages... which is due to change. when it does, I will likely switch back to dropbox.

P70%
by P####:

Needs to have smoother sync, seems like it's reloading the page each time I save. Would be nice to be able to resize images and hand-drawings. AND AT LAST: Ability to create page. C'mon guys, can't have a note taking app without the ability to create a new page!

Cannot make new one notes Cannot sync with dropbox / skydrive Cannot even view these files if the sync function doesn't work, and I can't create local notes to edit. Trying to figure out how to return right now.

I70%

I have been using one note for several years and mobilenoter for some time now (at least 3 versions ago). IT's great for having access to my notes when not at home. It beats out evernote for accessing files, but not for taking quick notes. It definitely is better than the new MS app, that only lets you use skydrive notes. I'm a huge fan of this app and look forward to what the future holds for it.

Wish I had read some of the reviews before I purchased, it doesn't sync with SkyDrive it just overwrites one way only so you end up loosing changes. Pages are ridiculously hard to work with, you have to constantly zoom in and out because it can't remember your settings, trying to edit pages gives you a bad head. The page list is full of bugs and page names overlap and cause the app to crash. It's really a shame because this app has so much potential, if the development work on these things and get it fixed then this could be a winning app! please developers work hard on this!

Still after getting the latest update, the new editor can no longer open printout notes (it crashes), which drives this app useless. Can you at least get inking support for the old editer or correct the problem as soon as possible? I found the new editor pretty good. Expensive, still doesn't work with Onenote 2013 after more a year, app hasn't been updated for 9 months, full of bugs, but could be great if the dev would get off his lazy ass and actually finish the job he started. He charged $15 for this app and people like me took a leap of faith and paid up for an app that was a good start to encourage him to continue its development. This guy doesn't have the decency: 1) to respond to support request emails beyond a canned acknowledgment form...with zero follow-up 2) to update his blog to state that he's not maintaining the app anymore 3) to pull his app from the Play Store due to reason #2 4) to acknowledge or apologize for abandoning the app in its current, unfinished, buggy, barely-minimally-functional state...much less offering any sort of partial refund. Look, I understand that priorities change, circumstances change, etc. and maybe he can't keep working on the app; I just wish he'd have been honest and forthcoming about it. Obviously, this guy's done nothing legally wrong, but it's really crappy behavior nonetheless, and the developer knows this. Caveat emptor, and like I said, this guy is a douche-nozzle.

Using OneNote 2013. Did the workaround recommended on the site. OneNote displays a threatening error as Microsoft has a special syncing procedure for OneNote. I use OneNote across four systems, so syncing matters. It works, just need to be careful with it. MobileNoter is now fast, reliable, exactly what I need it to be. It is one of my top applications on my tablet. Have dumped the MS product in favor of this. Recommended with workaround. Incremental sync rocks. Looking forward to next sync.

Office 2010sp1, with a notebook type: 'shared from computer or shared drive'. Changes made on any of my computers make it to my tablet but changes on my tablet never make it to any other devices. Changes are retained until a change occurs on any other device. At that point, the changes trample local changes. Log files contain 'file not found' exceptions for the modified note. Confirmed that the file does in fact exist.
