Public Location Badge for Android
It's been great, but some update has changed the notification icon... The notification icon now comes and goes, I wish it would stay there permanently to remind me that the app is running. Also, the message "acquiring your position" flashes up in the notification area from time to time. Does this have to happen? It's distracting - I wish it would just acquire my position silently. An app like this that runs passively shouldn't be popping up notifications.

I can post it on my site for my users to know when i'm @ their location. Only issue I have is my version doesn't allow for the nearby location for a city level only view.
Very ease n fast apps nice

I use this to reassure myself that my children are where they should be. Ace!
and now setting your image works
I've used it 2 weeks now and it seems easy to use and does exactly what I want, except, that the resulting map doesn't work with Internet Explorer, so I have to keep telling people to use a different browser. Thanks for the app
Any chance of hosting the maps via SSL? Currently Google Sites will not allow an embed of the maps because they aren't on https..
