If you don't use TWRP recovery, you can go with manual zip installation.
If you don't have Purity ROM, you can get it through this app as well (Only for supported devices)

When updating from purity 4.4 to 5.0.2 it doesn't install lollipop gapps. So i tried to install lollipop gapps manually and i ended up force closing. I did a factory reset, downgraded to purity 4.4.4 and in staying on the ROM. Purity roms are great but the ota updating integration isn't good. I'd recommended manually installing lollipop purity

It works great on my Nexus 7 2012 Wi-Fi, but reports always that there is a new version even when I have already updated on Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi. Please fix this
