Project Color - The Home Depot

I tried to use 3 colors... I could then only use my 2nd color. I was so angry. This app has so much potential. If they fix that issue... this app is golden.

The colors are off. We used the app to pick a paint color, went into store to have a sample made and it was 4 times lighter than what the app said. Just be cautious

Great application. Just keep in mind that your smart phone or tablet is not color calibrated. App works best for visualizing bold changes such as going from neutral colors to bold mid-tones. App also provides approximation of paint variance under various light sources.

I repainted my living room from using this app to pick a color and see what it would look like. I can finally say I am completely satisfied with the outcome thanks to this app!

Email address required now? No thanks . Was a five star rating til it started requiring that. Off to the land of deleted apps you go.

You required my email address just to use the app. If it's not optional it's a hard pass. I already get plenty of spam.

I would have rated higher, however, after going through all the different colors and having finally decided on a color - only to find out at my local Home Depot Store *No, we don't have that color* Major Sigh

I liked this up until they changed to requiring your email address to use the app. On my phone, some of they colors looked the same. But that's more the quality of the display rather than their app.

Didn't work. Color added to photo woundn't stay and was random color I didn't choose.

This app isn't worth sharing personal information for I immediately uninstalled it I don't want spam from Home Depot

I love this app it's very fun and helpful. There are many colors to choose from. I would have given 5 stars if it didn't erase some of the coloring I have already done. I had to restart the whole thing like 5 times and then just gave up. Also I would like the option to save my project to continue later and also be able to save an image. All in all a fun app.

Aggravating. Switching between colors ends up losing colors and starting over. When I went to add a third color, the color was added to the bottom,but I couldn't use it. It showed that the third color was selected,but painted the second color. It would be helpful to be able to switch to a brush for finer areas, especially when erasing. And When coloring over a dark area with a lighter color, the color shade it's way off. Good concept,but needs work to make it truly helpful.

Was trying for different shades of gray, and everything was coming out dark. I thought maybe it was my fault because the room doesn't have the best lighting. But tried out a red in a well lit room and it still came out dark gray. What's the point in a color app you can't use?

Spent ten minutes trying to "paint" a den wall. Got photos, a plus sign, a paint roller in different places once in awhile but not predictably. Tapped everything, camera button, "See it", "match it", swiped, hit menus, and twice in ten minutes I got color on a wall, accidentally, but couldn't figure out how to repeat. It locked up once. Very tough for me to use.

I downloaded this app. A few months ago , it started acting up and just thought it was the phone ! Well it's not . when you take a picture of the room you want to "paint" it does nothing. Would be really helpful if this issue was fixed !

It stops letting me undo. Also I can't change back and forth from one color to another. Doesn't save full size photo. Adds watermark which means no going back later, because file is smaller and watermark messes up the lines. ... Was going to save one color change at a time and go back to do other colors for trim. So the above mentioned undo option could be bypassed.

This app was great for finding our colors, but when we went into our local store 2 of the colors are not sold anymore. I don't understand why they are on the site if they can't be bought. We found other colors, BUT we spent a good amount of time picking the colors we wanted out.

I had fun with this app. Picked out all my paint colors at home (amazingly awesome for an alternately abled person!) Got to the store and could not find one color I had picked out.

The fact that it only shows colors from Behr and not other manufacturers makes this a copy of Behr's project app. Include other paints, such as Glidden, and I would gladly increase the rating.

Other than looking at different paint colors it has no purpose. App does not work in any way, shape or form

We're buying a house and planning on repainting. This app saves us hours from having to mess around with color swatches taped to the wall.

Needs better color selection menu . Need,to color around objects better. Looks messy when u apply color. Needs alot of improving and I think then it will be very handy app for paint ideas .

I almost decided not to download based on the negative comments everyone had been leaving, so glad I gave it a shot! I was extremely surprised at how effective it really was at overlaying the colour on the existing wall. The key is to take a picture with as little obstruction as possible, the app will practically colour itself if you simply single tap each area you want coloured!!!!! Never thought I'd say this but WAY TO GO HOMEDEPOT!!!!
