The Grade Dating App

The concept is great, and I love getting a lot less scum in my inbox, however, this app has a lot of issues. First, once a month, I'm shown the same set of men I've previously rejected. The exact same set of matches, but I'm notified that there are new matches. Then I get notified that someone has... something. The app doesn't complete that sentence. I Have no idea what people are doing in relation to me, cuz it's not messaging me. Half my new matches, my actual new ones, the app won't load their pictures.

Can't get any photos to upload, let alone changing photos. No updates in over a year with an app that clearly has issues and needs updates. A large part of the user base that I've seen in a 1000 mile radius of me (and picking different major cities) haven't been online in months. Lack of activity and support tells me this is a good way to waste time.

I've had this app for two weeks and haven't had a match yet!! Seriously? I live in the fourth largest city(Houston)and I'm the ONLY Gay on this site????? #BuhBye

UPDATE November 2016: this app has not properly connected to its servers in WEEKS, and therefore is probably abandoned : The Grade allows matches made from liking profiles of others to message each other for free over the app, which is good. However, the app is plagued with compatibility issues (over perhaps 5 different makes and models of Android which all supposedly support the app, the app only installed successfully on ONE device. Less users able to run the app (especially when they are told that they can) = less potential matches. Furthermore, Images are often stretched and don't appear in proper ratio on the app, and the 'peer reviewing' of users profiles is gimmicky at best (why would you want to peer review someone else's profile in the first place?). Finally, the 'user pool' is limited, and despite you setting distance limits for matches, others who have larger set distance limits can still find you, can still like you, and you will still be presented with their profile for matching. Also, disliked profiles will be re-presented to you periodically.

Gave me an F in messaging yet I don't have any matches? Not a lot of people on here. The only fun thing is knowing your swipe ratio.

Stupid app

Suggestions : allow users to browse for both men and women at the same time. Add an option for sexual orientation. Unless of course this is just an app for straight people, in which case... lame...

a glorified version of hot or not where you can go to screw up the algorithm. Sorry if you are this shallow you deserve it.

Another app that I can't use because it requires a Facebook profile.

Every time I get a notification, I go to open the app, and it just keeps loading. I can open the menu, but I can't get anywhere else. I don't know if it's the last update, but I'm highly disappointed.

I like that the app would hold people accountable for any nasty messages they may send. But I don't like how I can only upload fb photos, as I deleted the app off my phone, and I don't like how it says where I go/went to school. That makes me uncomfortable. And I don't like how I have to chose to only look for men or only look for women. Why not both? Bisexuals are looking to date too. Hopefully the app makes some updates soon, it has a lot of potential.

The performance definitely needs improvements but I have had more successful meets ups here than any other app. Thanks guys :)

The picture rating thing does seem kinda creepy, and it seems poorly executed. But mostly it's unpopulated to the extreme which makes it pointless.

Can't log in...

Authentication problems, did nothing but keep asking me to log in.

The app won't even let me log in. Just says 'loading' interminably. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.

It's a clone of tinder that doesn't work as well.

Not populated enough and according to my picture stats the population that is around finds me extremely unattractive.

Can't log on without Facebook so can't even try out the app.

I live in the bay area and it says there is no one around after like 10-15 profiles. Garbage app. Don't waste your time. Either no one uses this app or the GPS system is jacked up. Byeeee

Why can't I see both women and men? I have to stick to one gender? And what about those who don't prescribe to the gender binary?

The UI/UX needs improvement. Also, we can only check one gender preference?

Ok app, design is weird. There is no notifications settings so this app will regularly send a notification in the AM that there are new people or remind me to use it.

I haven't been able to log into the app today. This is a fatal flaw. Also, I am supposed to meet somebody tonight but now we can't confirm. I see somebody else had the same issue and then had it fixed when they posted a review saying they couldn't log in. Hopefully, the same thing will happen with me!

Everything about it is just poorly done. The user interface is unnecessarily clunky, there's basically no one on it, which causes for inaccurate grades, you can only show Facebook photos, and the tips for improving your grade actually feel like you're being bullied into conformity - which is absurd, because what's the point of having a profile if it can't be unique?
