About Access Evolutions
Access Evolutions allows users to access the mobile enabled features and functions of their Access software from their Phone – one app for features from multiple Access products. The number of features enabled will increase over the coming months.
V1 of the app has the following features enabled; aCloud Expense and FocalPoint ‘New’ Timesheets.
Access aCloud Expenses – expenses on the move. You can log an expense, take a photo of the receipt and submit it instantly for approval, reducing the need for spreadsheets, and keeping a digital record of your organisations receipts. aCloud Expense integrates with Access Dimensions, Supply Chain and also provides options to link with external products such as Sage Line 50, helping you to remove double entry and human error.
Features include:
• Log in using your aCloud credentials
• Expense Entry
• Expense Approval – including credit cards
• Attach receipts using your phones camera
• Visibility of expenses awaiting approval
• Multiple Expense database support
• Expense integration with Access Dimensions.
• Links to’ go to main aCloud site’ and ‘Recover Password’
FocalPoint ‘New’ Timesheets –
Using the ‘New Timesheets’ functionality in FocalPoint users can enter and approve timesheets on the move.
Features include:
• Timesheet entry
• Timesheet approval/rejection
• Submitting on a daily basis
• View time awaiting approval
• Multiple selection to submit or delete in a single tap
• Editing of days once submitted up until the point of approval at first stage
• Easy navigation through weeks using the scroll feature
• Date selection using the date lookup
• Links with Absence
This feature will be available to organisations using Access FocalPoint version 4.11 SP2 or above and users who have access to this feature.

Feature Menu – This will show users all the mobile enabled features they have access to from the Access product suite. The main benefit to this is to group related tasks irrespective of product i.e. In the Approve section you may have Expenses and Timesheets even if these are from different products.
Application Menu – This will show the user the mobile enabled features they have access to by Access Product.

It stops working. After last update it's not possible to use it. It is required to use Chrome browser to authenticate user. Unfortunately my default browser is Ghostery and it doesn't allow me to log in. New version is useless now.

Terrible application. Doesn't work offline and actually no longer works at all. When it did "work" it is/was very clunky and a huge pain to use. The one thing it did used to be ok for was mileage.

Not user friendly. You can't use your phones back button and have to use the menu each time. Hard work adding info to receipts. Doesn't contain any history of approved expenses. You don't receive notifications when something has been approved.

Destination line for journeys misaligned making it difficult to see what you have typed before submit it. You add start point a then, end point b, then return journey to point a and submit it, just so the app can re jumble the route as if it's telling you the shortest route and become a navigation app which is acb? A number of errors when choosing a tags and trying to submit. Not user friendly and has some work to be done.

Same issue as everyone else, since the last update it is completely unresponsive as it is in a constant loop opening browser windows. If I didn't know better I would swear it's malware.

If you want a pointless app that will leave you frustrated when trying to easily submit expenses then this is the app for you. It has a really neat feature that when you try to log in and connect to your account the app crashes.

Faster and more stable as of latest version. Issues with authentication loops resolved, too. Really useful app.
