Downloadable kits include recordings of authentic speakers demonstrating the five crucial elements needed to learn an accent, set out in a simple, easy to use structure;
- FREE SPEECH: a 1-3 minute story of personal interest in the speaker’s own words.
- FOUNDATIONS: the oral SETTING, the focal ZONE and the TONE of the accent.
- PRACTICE TEXT: the speaker reading a set text containing all the speech sounds and combinations you need.
- WORD LIST and SENTENCES: all the vowel shapes of the accent together with practice sentences recorded by the sample speaker.

What's Changed
Go straight to the Accent Store the first time you download the app. Your new purchase will now show on the initial page that only appears the first time the app is downloaded.
When you reinstall the app, all your previous purchases will show on the initial page.
You no longer need to ‘unlock’ the app with the Truro accents as before. The app is now ready to use straight away when buying your first accent.

I downloaded a Yorkshire accent for a show I was cast in and sure enough the app took my money but the purchase doesn't show up. I've restored purchaes, rebooted my phone and nothing. What a rip off. I want my money back.

So I got the app for a play I am in, I bought RP male 1 and it won't let me get the accent I've restored purchases and done everything thing I can think too and it won't work and customer support hasn't responded in over 4 weeks

I know the techniques are high quality having worked with Edda in person, that's why I bought the kit. The content of the app is impressive and would have potential but none of the audio clips play more than once without shutting down the app and going back to it later. EDIT: I've changed my review from three stars to one. The audio doesn't play at all. The app clearly isn't ready and the fact that there's been no effort to repair it speaks volumes. Complete waste of money, I'd recommend you avoid this app.

Start using the accents already loaded and your purchase will show. The way they have built the app is confusing but don't worry you haven't been ripped off! It's actually a really good app but to use it you have to click on the pre loaded accents first!
