The AA

Used to like this App. Found it very useful and the members benefit function saved me a few £££. HOWEVER, since the last update the app doesn't work properly and keeps displaying an unexpected error has occurred in some functions. Yes, as of today it has NOT actually been fixed properly as asserted elsewhere on here. I reinstalled it twice and I have tried it on Wi-Fi and 4G and it is just NOT working properly in some areas. Come on AA get it sorted out properly please or roll back to the previous version until you fix this and restore my faith in you. EDIT: Faith restored again, after a few days and a re-install now working as well as ever, thank you A.A.

Mainly used for route planning/ check. However it should not default assume my travel is just to place of work. Other apps show traffic congestion more clearly. The app holding membership detail is worthwhile, and depending on network coverage may prove useful in event of a travel incident.

It used to work now the app says I need to renew my membership. I have phoned the aa and I am covered. Worried me as when i wanted to use i was on holiday.please sort the app so I can log in. I have read the response why does it do it now when it never did before

Network error means can't sign in. So that makes it useless really. No network error apparent on the phone otherwise...

If I could give this app zero stars I would but since the update I can no longer sign into my AA account all I get is a message saying network error please check your internet settings my internet settings are absolutely fine as I have tried logging into other accounts and works fine I have been with the AA for years and never had a problem until now

Joined the AA today, downloaded the app, can't log in as it doesn't recognise my postcode. Not the greatest start!

Just installed this. Worked perfectly. Allows AA to locate you/your vehicle without having to work out where you are. (This is potentially very useful if you don't actually have a clue where you are!)

Thank God for this app when I left my membership details at home. So so useful. AA came to my rescue just as they said they would. Glad I downloaded this.

Works very well apart from saying my car is untaxed and has a manual gearbox. If they can correct this I will give it 5*.

Not everyone needs a my commute box taking up half the screen every time you open the app. When your retired its no use and should be an option not a fixture. Far to many updates which fix nothing just make app more fiddley to use. Stick to basics that members want then I will up my star rating.

Luckily haven't had to use the app to report a breakdown, but the app seems well laid out and is easy to use. The design is consistent and has some great discounts on offer, although a discount code for Halfords would be beneficial!

Was fine till recently. Can't update car details. Mot overdue etc. Benefits page doesn't load. Reported but no reply. Used fine for years get it sorted

It's easy to log in, useful storage of car details. Money off offers are show. Breakdown contact for help via the app.

Walking in London looking for a place to eat. Found Browns near Trafalgar Square and got 20% off the bill with the app. Great.

Rang to report a breakdown which told me to use the app. App then told me to call since it was a motorway. Reported a breakdown and still doesn't show on the app. Pointless

However the fuel guides are well out of date within the local area to me, compared to actual prices listed, how often are they updated?

Keeps asking me to enter my membership details, which is approximately zero use if I am trying to get information quickly. Will be uninstalling if it isn't sorted out.

Have trouble loading benefits page to use in a restaurant, even though I was connected successfully to the venue wi-fi therefore wasn't able to get discount.

Tracking the AA van coming to you seems to work again!

I have useful information at my finger tips makes it easier to report breakdown and track mechanic

Great app. Keeps track of my cars MOT, Road tax, service and insurance due dates. All my benefits listed.

Great app to use when travelling. Kept us up to date with all traffic using our precise location.

Don't work anymore!

Not had to use breakdown yet, but everything else works well. Traffic map is best.

So far it does what it says. Have not tried to report a breakdown and hope to never test that function.
