The configuration of wireless receivers or radioactive detectors is in a simple triangular pattern and requires no calibration as it's solution includes the intensity of the source.

They have uranium mining companies testing it, wireless employee tracker inside of buildings, triangulating archaeological artifacts underground, and another was tracking range animals.
