About Compass 360
Compass Free tend to use very less battery.
Using a compass is fairly easy; the needle always points towards the North Pole. And all you need to do is align the map and you’re ready to roll.
Where Do Polar Bears Live?
Polar bears live in the circumpolar north in areas where they can hunt their primary prey, ice seals. They are found in Canada (home to roughly 60% of the world's polar bears), the U.S. (Alaska), Greenland, Russia, and Norway (the Svalbard archipelago).
What's causing climate change?
Warming also leads to more warming as feedback loops start to contribute. Examples include:
1. Less ice reflecting less energy back into space
2. More open water absorbing more heat,
3. Warmer temperatures that thaw ancient permafrost (frozen soils), releasing yet more greenhouse gases
How are polar bears affected by climate change?
Polar bears have evolved for a life on the sea ice, which they rely on for reaching their seal prey. But the arctic sea ice is rapidly diminishing due to a warming earth, affecting the entire arctic ecosystem, from copepods to seals to walruses. For polar bears, sea ice losses mean:
1. Reduced access to food
2. Drop in body condition
3. Lower cub survival rates
4. Increase in drowning
5. Increase in cannibalism
6. Loss of access to denning areas
What can be done?
Humans have caused this problem, and humans can fix it. Research suggests that time remains to conserve polar bears if we act soon to greatly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This means all of us—individuals, communities, businesses, and governments—must work together now.
