Tried to enter start and end journey locations multiple times but despite recognising them it leaves the box blank rendering the whole app useless.

Very easy to use but I can't find out how to purchase tickets other than using the website link?

Can't buy tickets (so no reward points), the UI is quite dated and ugly (Google's standard "Holo UI" isn't followed much), no real sense of company branding (app feels generic) and there's an advert to buy another app within it which strikes off as very unprofessional. I'd advise having a look at other TOC's apps like XC and you see a huge difference!

This isn't the mobile ticket wallet app I was looking for, it's different. Thus app is just a container for the website so why not just go to the website?!

This is not from Virgin! People aware of this app please! This app is fake from original virgin train app!

Cant be used to book tickets, web viewer is unstable

There is no indian station

This app is just a timetable search. You have to go to the website to see any ticket prices or buy tickets. When I did that and searched again for tickets a menu panel appeared over the whole page and I couldn't get rid of it. Hopeless. I've uninstalled it.

Cant sign in. Only applies to their trains so cant plan a route. Cant book tickets via app so have to do it online. Needs more improvements to be in line with other train apps.

Unable to book future booking dates all appear 13/13/13 not worth effort for nectar points will stick with booking fee website

You can't book any UK train journey. This is for East Coast train journeys only. Uninstalled.

I really love this app it dosent freeze on you or nothing like that if i need to book train tickets when im out simply go on and buy them its easy as. 1 - 2 - 3 ...

Wanted to book bike space!!!! Not with this app. Pretty pointless if you are limited to basic bookings.

This app is easy to use, very accurate, full of useful information and has made my commuting around the country far easier. Now if the trains worked as well as this app life would be easy

Life saver told me all i wanted to know a day before i had to catch the train much better than buying the other app

I downloaded it as I thought it would show me details of my future journeys that I have booked with east coast but no option at the moment. Looks good for general train info.

Nothing like the East Coast website (which is great) no option to buy tickets, un installed after one use.

Can't view train fares or purchase ticket. I'll stick to virgin trains app.

A very badly designed, badly scoped application. No integration with east coast account. Just a badged version of a bad app.

Gives times, platforms, underground status, favourite journeys. it's quick and free

It seems to me anything railway related is a waste of time!

I nearly exclusively need to book train tickets through my phone. Your new mobile site is getting there but still needs a lot of work. You need to incorporate booking tickets into the app. Until then, the Virgin Trains app is still my preference for booking on my phone, and I almost only use East Coast trains due to being on the mainline (tickets are the same price on both normally to).

Since the latest update, if I try and check train times(which is what I mainly used it for, as I have east coast on line on my computer to book tickets)I now get a message if the line is not east coast telling me I have to upgrade..very silly change and unhelpful..will use the cross country ap now till this is sorted..shame because this was easily my favorite train ap..
