SiMi Clock Widget for Android
Would be 5 stars if you could edit widget after creating, or at least set default values. So annoying redoing 20 settings just to change one of them.
Hasn't been updated since April 2011. Weather recently stopped working, but I doubt it will be fixed. It's a shame, I love the look of this app.
Consolidate your apps in the menu launcher built into the SIMI battery clock. Make the background and text transparent so only the circle in any color of your choice appears on your home screen. Use one circle to quick menu five apps! Messages and emails on one circle, another circle for music tools, and another for calendars and checklists, etc., etc. 8 circles puts 40 apps on your front page! Awesome organizer! Thank you Developer!!
This is a gorgeous widget! However, I suspect that it may be preventing my Evo 3D from going into deep sleep. How to replicate: 1. Install CPU SPY, free from market. 2. Put widget on desktop, with weather and battery monitoring. 3. Turn screen off, wait 5-10min. 4. Turn screen on, CPU SPY shows that phone never enters DEEP SLEEP. It only enters 384Mhz mode. Next, I'm going to test the widget w/o the battery % display to see if results are the same.
I like this widget but a recent update has added the high/low temp, pushing my location out of view. Please remove. - Inspire 4G (rooted) Amended on 11/30/14 ..: Attempted to give this widget/app another chance. Its complete crap now. - LG Optimistic G (rooted)
I love this widget, it's the best out there, but unfortunately it's not been updated recently. And so now, on 4.2.2, it stops (time / battery freeze) after some time. Might have something to do with connecting my phone to the charger, but not sure. Please! Bring this great widget back! Thanks
Love the app and minimalist design. Running on lollipop on moto x 1st Gen. Only problem is weather not auto updating by location. Worked when I first installed on My Touch running Eclaire but stopped working maybe 3 years ago. If this can be fixed don't need an alternate weather app.
Time no longer updates after Nexus 5 update to 4.4.2 (not rooted, no memory or app managers). I either restart phone or have the app resave settings for it to update the clock, but will only be accurate as long as I bring no other apps to foreground.
Even after a long period of no updates, this widget still functions flawlessly and works on every Android version out there. I use it all the time on my home screen and with WidgetLocker. Looks great, is simple and intuitive to use, and has great functionality for weather, battery, and all the things I use every day. 5 stars!
was told that the app would be updated in early February for ICS. that has still yet to happen. It looks awful on the galaxy nexus, too small, and the launcher icons look terrible. fix and will re-rate to 5 stars.
Just figured out u can customize what Alps u want to open from tapping left, middle and right side of widget!! Saves a lot of room that way... uninstalled all the other wanna be clocks I had installed!
Simple, clear clock that does not hog your home screen. If I could make a wish, I would like the display of upcoming alarm ;). Edited to remove 4 stars: after about a week, 2 days and 10 hours off. Removed.
The widget looks great but it makes my phone run very very slow and it takes a lot of battery. After I used this widget for few days and uninstalled it(not only removed the widget) my phone became instantly rocket fast. Other lookalike widgets don't slow my phone and don't take as much battery.
I'm not sure if it's the HTC Sensation or what, but recently this app has been making duplicates of the widget on my screen. One works, the other doesn't. After that stopped, the widget just wouldn't change the time at all. This was my favorite clock app and really hope there's a way to fix this with an update or anything that I need to do with my phone.
Clock constantly freezes, and the only way to get it going again is to remove and re add the widget. Even a phone restart won't fix the freeze.
The weather stopped working a few versions ago. I sent some details to dev in an email, haven't received a response after several weeks. I used to love this widget, now it's going the way of the dinosaurs. Sad.
I got this to look exactly how I want on my home screen (and on WidgetLocker), but it took a WHILE! Lots of font size, spacing and colour options. It would be nice to have some sort of drag handles for these options. Otherwise great app. The icon weather especially looks great
I've had this app for a long while and it was working fine, but now the weather part has stopped updating whatsoever, showing the same weather from over a week ago. Very odd...and sad as I liked the app
Please keep this up to date! It is my favorite clock/weather/battery app and I've used it on my past three phones. Need to be able to change margins on ICS and also..why does it redraw/dissappear so often?
This widget is visually one of the best clock/battery indicator widgets I have tried out. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the battery indicator does not update while charging until it is full. I have to unplug my DX2 from the charger to see how much it has charged instead of just turning the screen on.
Maybe cuz it hasn't been updated, but... - Time is inaccurate: widget time vs. Actual system time - widget does not load completely: i have to reload a new one and set all the settings again its annoying
You have to really adjust the settings quite a bit to get it to fit correctly on your screen but after some effort it looks really nice. You have to manually enter your location to get the weather to work. The thing I like best about it is that it only takes 696k of memory (really small) compared to some widgets that are loaded with junk. You get the time, date, weather and battery % in a clean small design.
Love this widget, it's the prettiest and most configurable clock widget. Unfortunately, with no updates for fives years I guess the app is abandoned which is a real shame. The weather has recently stopped working.
Great access to the features provided, could use just a couple more features. Really would like to drag to position the date, drag to position the time, drag to position the battery, etc. Selectable fonts after that would complete my list.
Searched for something like this for a long time. Ability to put everything on one line is wonderful. Huge clock/weather apps are really a waste if screen space. Good work!
lol@will Really? 1 star because it's too hard for you? *facepalm* Excellent app. I switch between this and BW constantly.
When it's 6 oclock on the 12 hr format, the 6 goes below the 0. Pls update this issue.
Love the app and minimalist design. Had it on My touch for almost 3 years running eclaire and just installed on moto x running kit Kat. Just about the only problem is weather not auto updating by location. Use to work when I first installed but stopped working maybe 2 years ago. If this can be fixed don't need an alternate weather app.
Really nice widget and has every thing i needed with simple minimal style. Love it. 5 starts

For some reason, stop changing the time - but it right top corner time is right. It just freezes and don't change anymore, as a workaround I had to replace widget, but issue happens again and again. Please fix! 4x2 size format would be great, on my HTC one x 4x1 looks really tiny
One of the first thing that I install. Has battery, weather and time all in one, looks sleek, and is not a ram hog. Great work.
Perfect replacement for the standard Galaxy SII clock (that does nothing when you tap it. !) The only think I don't like is the 'save' button on the settings menus that goes against the normal Android style so it's easy to forget to press Save.
Simple design conceals a functional clock and weather widget and a comprehensive launcher. Between this and CM7 I can access every app I regularly use from my homepage, which appears empty, neat and tidy. I love it. Does hump the battery though...
PERFECT!!! Does WAY more than I expected...and it even finds my rural weather location in Saskatchewan Canada...great app!!! Galaxy S Vibrant
The weather location function no longer works. The app will not adjust for weather in my current location. It remains stuck on one location at all times. Of this could be fixed the app would be perfect. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
When it's 6 oclock on the 12 hr format, the 6 goes below the 0. Pls update this issue.
It always says 38°. Its 70° today. And the location is way off. GPS is on, full service & 3G connected. Clock freezes often also. Its been over 2 years without an update, perhaps its time.
I am in South Florida and weather does not work anymore. I have used both location-aware and selected a location. Neither works. Didn't work on my previous Galaxy S3. Now I have an S4, and it doesn't work.
