SiMi Folder Widget

It opens really slow. The whole point of having the folder is to give you quick access to many apps. At this speed I'm better off just going to my app drawer. But its convenient, SO SPEED UP PLEASE!(: -Samsung Exhibit!

When I try to add apps to my folder, all I see is "noData" and I can't add anything. The Overview says (and shows) that there should be an "Applications" button but there isn't. I am trying to use the +Add button within the folder's settings but that doesn't work either. I wanted to like this widget but I'm uninstalling.

So far it still works decently with lollipop. I have seen a few issues where a FC happens but things still run ok. Would be great if there was an update for lollipop. Still does what it's supposed to so guess that's good. 4 stars -1 for no recent updates.

for some reason it wont let me load one of my icon packs, very disappointing. also how do i make it so that it puts the folder in the middle of the screen instead of the top? right now if forces the folder to the top of the screen but i want it centered on where the widget is.

When I create a folder, not all of my apps are available to add! I'm trying to make an all google folder like the nexus google folder. Only 2-4 google apps come up as available. Will be 5 stars if that gets fixed!

The app is really good and does not use unnecessary storage space. But, the problem is that it stops whenever I choose an icon from my gallery. So, I decided to use it with Folder Organizer lite and thanks God, both can work together. Also, I would be glad to rate 5 stars if you'll fix this.

Really nice and the shortcuts mean I can keep my phone screen tidy and minimalist without losing functionality. Please change the horrid orange colour when selecting an item and you'll get the 5th star :-)

I seem to lose my icons sometimes when I update version, or install new ones. I cannot seem to find them in the list of apps to be added to a folder... Is this incompatibility with the new app?

A bit time consuming to set everything up the way I want it, but at least it can do what I want, and organize all the apps into folders. A scrollable widget would also be nice. Any maybe drag and drop, if it´s possible..

Just what I needed to stop scrolling through dozens of apps to find the one I need. Only prob is when I select a widget the home screen flashes on and off. Very annoying.

Used to love it, but apps not showing up to be added to a folder. An issue since my galaxy s3 had the latest update. Please fix!

Unfortunately when I try to choose an icon from the gallery option for my folder I get a message saying SiMi Folder has stopped working. Would have been great if I could customise my folder icon.

But I have 2 requests: 1) Possibility to link a single application to a widget, not shortcuts or folders only. 2) Option to change icon on the applications in folder

So many ways this thing is excellent. Sure it's got its problems, but it's a cute little doohickey and its free. If you think it looks outdated try customising it for a cleaner feel.

It was working for the longest with my s2 s3. But it keeps crashing and closing when trying to ad apps. Simi is nice creeps my screen super clean.

Love this app but no update in a long time. Has dev abandoned project? If I saw an update I'd go pro in a second!

No update since 2012. Sad, this used to be a great app. Using AOS 4.4 linking a Simi folder to a Zooper widget as a shortcut opens the folder at the top of the screen instead of at the widget. Oh, well. Nothing lasts forever!

You could drag and drop apps etc. into the folder the way you can with a normal folder on my Galaxy S4.I use this widget so I can have subfolders which I can't with the standard folders.The icon could show a preview of some of the items it contains like the standard folder does.If not a wider range of different included folder icons would be nice.Change "Vertical" text to "Square" window as it is not clear.More options than the IPhone background.Look at Widget Container app would like this functionality.

Samsung Note 2. Apps/contacts in one folder excellent. This is only folder I have used. Got it two years ago and the Pro last year; however the Pro disappeared unnoticed. Forgot why I got the Pro version but will probably get it again. I still have the icon in my phone although it's not working.

i tried few other folder organizers and found this one more practical and straight forward to set up folders and insert apps ( even maintenance is easy). but upon usage it displays one long horizontal bar of icons, 5 at a time. i wish it could show multiple rows of 4 or 5 apps across.

I use this to sort game genres within my games folder on my phone. It simply works!

Love it but... Some apps disappear from the folders after they've been updated. I have to reload the datacache every time. Would be nice if the apps went back in the folders after being updated.

I'm honestly not bothered by no drag and drop abilities. The most annoying thing for me is the apps do not follow the icon theme at all. Nor can I select an icon from any packs because they do not show up in the list. I have found a work around being that I display no icons. But it would be better to not have to do that. That and being able to use an alternative background image as well as color.

LOOKS GOOD ON HORIZONTAL.. but x1 column vertical looks awkward.. I READ ON FORUM XDA this app was discontinued. :-(

Force closes when using combined folder. Love the transparency. Animation could be smoother and less panicky. HTC desire s.

I use your app to point folders to my widgets and no matter where I locate my widget the folder seems to always open at the top of my homescreen. Another issue in experiencing, I keep my notification bar hidden and when I tap one of my linked folder widgets it opens my hidden notification bar, not all the way,just the usual fixed portion. I believe this creates a lag as well.

I like the layout and the flexible design but if you select the folder from the home screen but then not select one of the icons in the folder and instead try to go to a different folder or page the screen appears frozen. To unfreeze you have to press the home button. Fix that bug and 5 stars for sure. Update: I think I just needed to restart my device. Works wonderfully now.

but the delay when opening the folder is a bit on a high(sluggish) side (compare to stock app folder, or ADW launcher app folder)

Hi, well, try as I might, I cannot find a simple tutorial for this! I'm not totally computer illiterate but I can't get my head round this one. I like the look of the end result but will have to look for something else as this is too complicated for me.

Continual crashing when adding apps to lists.

This is a very nice and clean widget. Love it alot and it suits perfectly with minimal styles homescreen. However, i would like to have all of my apps available to add into the folder. Alot of apps are missing. Would greatly appreciate it if it get fixed. Thanks in advance.

DOES NOT WORK WITH NEVER VERSION OF ANDROID! For older versions like 2.3 it is very nice... WORKS GREAT.. Now has folder backup... works great... Really streamlined my desktop and handles my apps great. Suggest downloading good collevtion of icon in png format and saving on sd card .. Use gallery or file manager from simi folder settings.

The apps works very well, but could use a few small improvements. First off, and the main one for me is spacing. There should be automatic spacing to evenly space out apps in the folder. Colors could be a little easier to set up. And lastly the app functions very well, however it does hang up every now and then.

Could do with more options like a choice of opening and close animation for the folders. Also with ICS the menu button keeps showing when I click on a folder. Very annoying!

Can't get the invisible folder to work, also can't get the widget to open below the folder, it always opens at the very top below the status bar, unless I use the shortcut option, but then I can't use custom images.

Great application. Little confusing at first but decent after a few tries. Trying to find proper icons. And yes you can add play store to folder as I did.

When using ICS, the three menu icons keep showing; otherwise is a great app !

Nothing I would change! Although screen orientation can sometimes go a little crazy upon clicking the widget icon. Also since switching to ICS 4.0.3 theres now a delay of a couple of seconds before the launcher actually opens. HTC Sensation

but when I open it, it hangs on the reload datacache and when creating a folder it doesn't show all my apps. I only get this problem on my galaxy note 2, it picks up all my apps when i use it on my samsung galaxy nexus! Have emailed dev but no response

Very useful in theory but every time I update an app in the market, its icon disappears from the folder :(. I'm not using it as a standalone widget but together with simi clock launcher.
