Boolean Lincoln Tour

The Boolean Tour of Lincoln
This Android app is a tour guide that tells users about George Boole, the inventor of Boolean Logic; arguably the man who made the 'DNA' of digitality. He was born in Lincoln, England in 1815. The app guides the user around places of relevance to Boole and his life in the ancient city of Lincoln.

The app uses Google Maps and GPS to identify locations. Images and text help users to orient themselves to places around Lincoln city.

It is hoped that future developments will make the app more interactive, enabling a social aspect similar to geocaching and encouraging the exchange of Boolean ideas and comments.

It was made as a University of Lincoln student project in association with The Lincoln Boole Foundation.
