Landlord App users are no longer dependent on their PC’s at home to track and access their property management business records. All the data stored in the app is exportable to excel or a back up file, making it easy to do an end of the year tax report or swap between devices.
TheLandlordApp has 6 main functions, Property Summary, Financial Summary, Miles, Rentals Available, Tenant Screening and Settings which are integrated into a native software package that will work harder than anyone on your team.
The Property Summary function allows you to input all of your rental property information to include rental income, track rents paid, lease dates, tenant information, expenses paid, advertise, utilities paid, mortgage paid, late fees paid, and cash flow.

The track miles feature allows you to log in miles driven while recording the date and location traveled to for each individual rental property.

One could use this app to track rental property but it is difficult doing so. The UI is not user friendly at all, even watching the video tutorials are confusing. There is no option to backup or export data to a printable file, only to apps file format. No way to track by tenant or by lease changes. Any new data input erases all previous data. When property is marked as vacant app still shows rent is due.

I have used it for a week now and feel comfortable with this review. Cons: -Does not allow user to go back and enter past payments. -Useability is a little difficult transferring from screen to screen, often find myself going to wrong screens when I am looking for something. Pros: +Very organized. +Convenient to have all this information at your fingertips. +Outputting information to a spreadsheet is very simple and useful. +Great customer service. Overall, way overpriced for what it does.

for 10 bucks. Its great. It would be nice if it allowed you to use dropbox and share and sync your data or at least share the db file. So if your a property manager you can let the owners know in real time what is going on. Would be nice to beable to attach video files as well for craigslist.

Needs to offer weekly rents, doesn't calculate the rent for the stated lease. Over all its a general guide to keep track of your rent collected.

Purchased this app yesterday. Nice interface; however, several features of the app don't work at all. For instance, I loaded 2 properties with all the tenant info etc. Rent on one of those properties is $1150/month and this month the tenant was late and only made a partial payment of $800. I entered $800 in the partial payment field and $115 in the late charge field and hit done. The app misteriously changed the late charge to $230 and continues to do this even though I've deleted and rebuilt all the data.

I like the app for the most part. When property is currently not rented it still shows rent due in the summary even though the rented check box is not selected. Also, when 'paid' is selected it creates an event on the calander but when 'paid' is unselected, the event stays on the calander.

If you only own single-tenant propertices, this app may be good for you. But if you have properties with multi-tenants, it is not user friendly. Key features are missing in this apps such as being able to add more than one tenant per building, add more than one contact information per residential unit, add comments per property, sorting data and adding more than one picture per proprety....

Does not work well with partial payments. No balance due will show. Need more export options. Overall it is a good app.
