DroidRemote for Android
Could not get any control of Spotify running my Tab4 as server and my S3 as client.
Xperia z3 tablet & Xperia Z2. (any chance of adding volume control?)
Working great with Note 4
Good
Hey, great app! Does exactly as advertised, which is exactly what I needed. It works perfectly with Pandora. Using a Moto X as the client and a Droid 3 as the server. Gonna try it with multiple clients in the near future. Thanks! Edit: Works flawlessly with multiple clients!
Thanks!! It's exactly what I was looking for. Works great, does what it says on the box. I only had to install it on both devices, and it automatically worked with the built-in Sony music player. I was going to suggest showing metadata on the client device, but I see you are already working on that. Spotify is not available in my region, so hopefully you can also get it done with another (preferably free) music player. Some suggestions for future developments: it will be nice to have a time progress bar on the client device along with the metadata. Perhaps even use the progress bar to skip to specific spots in the track, like on the server's music player. (I'm using my old Sony Ericsson X10 [with v2.3.3] as the server and my current Sony Xperia S [with v4.0.4] as the client)
I never write reviews, but for this one I have to say thank you very much. I have a a tablet that I rarely use and making spotify player out if it feels great. I hope in the future there will be option to control spotify more (select playlists, search, etc) and the volume. But great start nevertheless. Why don't you make own device (transform cheapo android pc-on-stick) by that would just have an AUX output and turn any pair of speakers into the Sonos-killer?
Does exactly what I want - let's me play music through my transformer prime using Samsung s3 as remote. Thanks:-)
Its amazing on my jail broken kindle :) just put the apps on both and it works with the stock Amazon player, so now I can contorl my music and movies across the room
Functions as I want it to, had no problems setting it up. Excellent app, does what it says on the tin :D Is missing a volume control. Im using the SEMC Play as server and S3 as remote.
Would love to be able to use volume adjustment from remote, but this is exactly what I needed & works perfectly! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I don't normally rate, but am very excited about this app! Thanks again!
Pauses spotify music on the server device okay, but won't respond to resume play or next/previous track buttons
I have a tablet that I use to stream from amazons cloud drive. I assemble a huge playlist, press play and am able to use my phone to skip and pause.
Good prog.
