About TFJumpAnalysis
TFJumpAnalysis application (Part of TF Series) uses supplied athlete data to optimize Run Way Approach. Run Way Approach includes Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, and Pole Vault. Application also uses supplied athlete data to analyze, predict, or optimize Jump Results. It is compatible with and follows guidelines from USA Track & Field Coaching Manual. It can be used as a Personal Training aid.
Application can use supplied athlete data and specified Run Distance times for calculations. Calculated values include 100 Meter Run Time, Max Run Rate, Run Time Constant, Forward Start Force, Run Velocity, Run Acceleration, and Run Steps.
Calculated values for specified Run Way Distance, Max Run Rate, Time Constant, and Max Step Distance include Run Time, Forward Start Force, Run Velocity, Run Acceleration, and Run Steps.
Calculated values for specified input include Jump Distance or Height, Vertical Force and Velocity, and Jump Time. Specified Inputs include Athlete Height, Athlete Weight, Vertical Acceleration, Approach Rate and Angle, and Form Data.
Specific values can be used to estimate strength levels required.
Application also provides estimates of changes to athlete Maximum Run Velocity for specified environmental conditions. Input parameters include Selected Velocity and Athlete Weight.
Adjustable environmental parameters include Parallel Wind Velocity, Temperature, Barometric Pressure, Altitude, and Relative Humidity. Results include Modified Velocity, typical 100 Meter Time, and Air Density.
Run Way distance wind adjustment is estimated using Modified Velocity. Modified velocity and Run Way distance are used to determine new Run Time. Time Constant is then adjusted using Max Run Rate and the new Run Time.
Email, print (with compatible device), or retrieval (with additional software) of results is also provided.
