OBD 2 Engine Sound

It works perfectly well on Samsung Note 3 and OBDII ELS327 (Chevy Malibu) Thank you guys! Wish sound improved in quality.

Hoped it to be more responsive :( even with audio cable lag is over 0.5 sec making it not fun. Rpm on app is real time, so it's some codec lag, NOT ecu lag. Also tried the other codec, pretty much the same. Lovely idea, though.

Don't waste your money. It is like watching TV when the actors mouth doesn't match the words. This is even with the fastest adapter available.

Would appreciate a refund. UI is horrible, sound is terrible. Not usable. No blow off sounds working.

the rpm in the app keeps up well with the engine but the sound it generates lags and spoils the fun. the sound in it is better than speedracer. please fix the lag and add more supercars.

freezes instantly on a note 3. Soundracer and dragfx work perfect. Please fix the bugs bro.. im dying to test ur app properly

It's not until you buy a Bluetooth adaptor and really test this app that you realise that it doesn't work as well as you may hope. That MAY be due to certain combinations of phone and adaptors. Sound is slow to respond to engine revs, and doesn't sound real at all. Sounds great in test mode, but that's besides the point. Will experiment with different devices..

But the sound is very poor , and needs a lot of work to get smooth and real time responce from obd adapter

This application is tremendous fun and has so much potential with future updates. I would like to see some different engine sounds and blow off valves that offer more variation in the sound that is produced. Love the app and I'm really excited to see what innovations the developer's come up with next

I am having connection problem and always disconnected after some time for many times. Pls fix the problem. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Concept works but rpm sounds don't keep up with changes in actual rpm changes.

Sounds good if u gave a decent sub and sound system. I would love to be able to add sounds or an option to mute engine sound and just leave the blow off valve sound an the turbo whistle. Needs some work. Keep it up ;) ps. Dont leave negative feedback because the response/lagg of the sound of the app it depends on the protocol/speed of the ecu/obd2 port

Not bad, but the reaction speed to the obd data is pretty poor...hoping author can improve this as it has potential :)

Love it...works gr8 if u have a sound system with a loud bass Wish if u could add more sounds.

Very easy to use app that actually works with a nexus 7 and an elm327 unlike sound racer. Great developer support also.

Works like a beauty with my ELM327. Getting sound into stereo with Belkin Aircast is a breeze, and does not lack bass. Would give it a 5 if it had more sounds. Suggest a blow-off valve sound when it detects a throttle lift off for that surround ricer experience! Best giggle i have had since a mate lent me his soundracer! Update! Now with 3 types of turbo blow off thus adding an extra point! 5/5 and still giggling

I was wanting this for a while now and this team has successfully made a great app. Paired with my ELM327 OBDII Bluetooth connector perfectly! Sounds great. Needs more car sounds. The v8 could use more bass sound to it. The v8 sound is too high and needs to be deeper!!!!!! OTHERWISE GREAT APP! WORTH BUYING!!!! Also I have sub-woofers in the car, if you don't have any, this probably wont sound and feel that great.

I knew after I purchased the OBD 2 Torque that somebody would figure out how to tie the bluetooth rpms to sound files in the phone. I am happy TFiveR has created the OBD 2 Engine Sound app. In the past I purchased the SoundRacer FM car sound simulator and it was terrible. I had to return it. The sounds of the engine in this app are of better quality. My wish is that TFiveR keeps improving this app with more engine sound samples with the best quality possible. I am a NASCAR fan so I hope that a nice race Chevy engine sound will happen. I think this app will really take off. If you have your phone's audio connected to your car stereo's aux this will sound great.
