SMS from PC / Tablet & MMS Text Messaging Sync for Android
Since I had a stroke, my dexterity has diminished as time goes on, making texting on my phone quite difficult. As long as I have my computer, I use Mighty Text. It's the best app out there for texting! I love it. I just upgraded to Pro and now I love it even more!
still the best app ever invented for messaging!!!!!!! the fact that it is so easy to use on a computer and ipad make its awesome. also love the fact that i can send a message from my phone number even if im 400km away from my phone. is the one of the big reasons for i havent got an iphone
There are a lot of unnecessary features that should be stripped out of a core business tool, sell it for 1/3 of the price and then let the power users who want the bells and whistles pay for them as add-ons. I've tried others, they just don't work. This does but if I had a more economical option I would certainly switch. Customer service blew me off when I inquired about a lower price, basically take it or leave it. I'll remember that.
It is great being able to send and receive text messages on my PC and tablet. When I switched to HTC (ugh) I missed the Samung feature of emailing texts. This solved the issue.
This app use to be great. But they have greatly reduced the usage for non pro subscribers. I'm not paying $10 a month to text from my phone. I have literally no interest in 95% of the things you offer in pro. I emailed them asking them to consider a $1-2 a month texting fee. Which they had no interest in.
... especially in work, where I am at a computer constantly, and mobile phones are frowned upon if used too long. Makes texting discreet and fast. It can be a little glitchy at times, but the pluses far outweigh the minuses. Highly recommend!
Can't fault this app at all. My only wish is for better dual SIM support. The app won't work with dual SIM phones unless you set a default SIM for calls and texts on the phone itself, which is a bit of a pain if you need to switch between SIMs frequently.
Great app. I use it at work to text the crews in the field. The only "improvement" I would love to see is adding an option for recurring messages. I send a reminder every week to our crew and I would love to have a setting that would automatically send it out every week.
Solid app with great interaction with my PC. Syncs very quickly! A little pricey for the pro version... but depending on your needs, it's probably worth it.
It's a fantastic app! The only negative thing I think would be worth mentioning is that it doesn't seem to udate/refresh very well at times. Other than that, I love it!
Love the interconnect between PC/Mac and my phone. Not as "clean" as a native solution but it gets the job done and I have no real complaints!
Don't normally do these but I love this app! After trying out the pro version it made me love it even more. Their support is incredible too! Instead of buying the monthly subscription I accidentally bought the annual subscription. Right away they refunded me the difference and helped me switch. Would recommend to anyone who's phone doesn't always get txt messages ????
It does absolutely everything I want it to do. I got the free version, and as soon as I saw my first text message pop up on my computer screen I subscribed for a year. The features in the premium version are absolutely fantastic. Being able to see the information pop up on my screen while doing computer work as well as its integration with Facebook makes this the best I have 5 purchased in several years. It's so simple to use and the premium features are very easy to understand and set up.
There are few messaging apps that manage to impress me anymore. Mighty Text is a rare and welcome exception. The Pro version is a must if you want to see what's really under the hood. My only reservation is no option to sync pics and video with local PC only. And no private/hidden folders. Other than that, it's worth every penny of Pro membership.
Love this app. I just don't liek that mms/group textin doesn't work as seemlessly as silencing single contact SMS. Or 1 picture at a time. If it is a group text or sequence of pics.. U can only see 1 pic and thas it or the group text comes late. Forced u to wait or go to ur phone which defeats the purpose of usin the app.
I really love the app itself and the functionality. However the free version is quite limited and the subscription fee is incredibly high. For context, I'm a business owner who abuses the hell out of this app and still wouldn't pay 80 a year. I have moved on to alternatives to meet my needs just because of it. Hopefully they remodel it to get lower prices or do something really unique and practical for businesses to make the price tag worth.
I like how the app is supposed to work, and appreciate it when it works. But too many of the contacts only show up as numbers, without names, even though they are in my contacts. And too often texts that I send from my phone do not show up in my browser on my PC. I just added a star to my previous review. I do use it a lot, and it generally works quite well, and it is so much easier to send texts when I can type on a full keyboard. (2017.12.13)
I really like being easily able to use my computer for messaging. Cos these phone things have small key pads for my size fingers. I make lots of typing mustooks which with my mum as a tping teacher ain't a good look. Also easy to save messages if those nasty ex wife txt's without paying my service supplier.
Mighty Text works well. However, there are times when connectivity with my Android phone may become disconnected. Did upgrade to the Pro/Full Version. I'm not sure that was really necessary to do so. Not really seeing the additional benefits. All-n-all a very good product.
Works about half the time. The rest of the time it gives you an error suggesting you send the text from your phone. Then what the hell do I need Mighty Text for? Also, if you do switch to your phone the site takes hours to catch up. You could have a whole conversation, then go back to your computer and none of those messages will be there. Hitting refresh, on either the Mighty Text window or the browser in general, does nothing. Closing the window and reopening it does nothing. You just have to wait a few hours for it to catch up.
Very useful app. Allows me to stay off of my phone and still not miss a call or text when I'm trying to focus on working on my laptop. Customer service is AMAZING. All real people and genuinely want to help you. I talked to them about problems I was having and they literally updated the app as a direct response to that. 5 stars
If they would drop the pro price to something more realistic then I'd give it 5 stars. $10 a month is nuts and $80 a year is even crazier. I found alternatives that were pretty much free and did the same thing but this app is more polished but it is pay to play.
I love this app! I use it every single day constantly but I'm at work to text colleagues and Friends. It's so much easier than typing on my phone. I wish the subscription cost was a little cheaper, but you can't beat the convenience.
Mostly convenient, but I get almost daily errors indicating a communication issue with my phone. Also I often receive a message on my phone that does not show up on mighty text. Finally, mighty text creates unread message notifications that are very annoying. Currently my phone says I have 23 unread messages, but that isn't the case. Makes it impossible to get rid of the notification bubble.
I thought I'd have to change my default messages app on my phone, but I don't! This works in the background, which is awesome. I can send and receive my messages from any browser, and it allows Chrome notifications, so I can be alerted on my computer when I get messages, too. Also, it's much faster than other solutions like Verizon's Messages+. Thanks for the app!
I had some trouble initially sending from my PC, but once I clicked "ping cell phone occasionally" the problem was resolved. ???? I recently discovered that pictures sent in texts from my PC don't appear on my phone texts. Overall it's a useful program without the additional " Pro" features.????
Works well, does the job. It's put together sensibly. I'd like to see a clearer UI if anything, it feels cluttered. Unfortunately I don't know many people who still use SMS so don't use it all that much. It's handy for all those 2 factor codes though and sending messages to the outliers! If only it could fix the lack of cell reception I have at the office!
For a contractor it is near a must have. You have all you text messages and photos already waiting for you on your computer at home. with the pro version it gets even better. As a bonus, while your phone is charging where ever you can still get your messages and notifications on your computer while watching a video or movie. Speaking of, I will slap a YouTube video of this app in action so everyone can see it. Brian Tapp Chapel Hill / Carrboro FPV
At home it's more convenient to use a larger device for texting and MightyText makes that easy. Pop-up windows on my PC helps with 2 factor authentication. I have had minimal problems with two different phones and networks. Recommended.
Hands down on of the most useful apps I have ever installed. The ability to text from my desktop without going to the phone is one of the most productive features. The added gifs and video when using the desktop is great but really the ability to do texts, email, etc. when I am working makes the paid version worth it. Hell, don't tell the Mighty Text people I said this but I would have paid twice as much for the Pro service.
One off the best text messaging apps around, being able to reply from any device is great. Love the reminder that comes up on my main computer to tell me my phone is charged, as phone is at other end of house, keep up the good work MightyText. Have just updated phone for Christmas, no problems with the change over everything just fell into place ,
This app has good functionality, but there are some things that need to be addressed. The desktop counterpart to the mobile app needs to support resolutions for larger desktop screens. Its impossible to read pop up sms messages. Hopefully this will be taken care of in a future release.
This app used to be free for unlimited texting but now you are limited to 200 texts per month or having to pay to upgrade to pro. There is no way to regulate which texts are synced so I ate up my 200 in the first week of the month. Guess I will have to uninstall and use one of the other free sms sync apps out there. Unfortunate way to alienate a long time user.
Initially it worked fine. Then, the app stopped receiving messages on the tablet, which made it useless. The sent texts showed, but reply messages would not show on tablet. Support has been unable to determine the reason for the problem after working on it for 1/2 a day.
Definitely works! Using this for sms over my laptop. Works perfectly. The only thing I've had difficulty so far is the auto sync pop-ups not syncing sometimes due to the phone losing wifi connection, but it's only minor and resumes after a couple minutes. Overall very satisfied.
I'm on a paid subscription. The service is buggy af. I can't see my messages sent from MT on my phone once I'm done which is frustrating if, you know, you'd like to have a record of what you said in your hand? Pro-support isn't any more helpful or speedy than regular support. I was asked to provide this review.
Its so good! I was hesitant of paying monthly for Pro, but it is well worth it. Never really have any issues/bugs and it is very useful. The one thing I would love is for the ability to schedule SMS messages from my phone. Other than that, love this app!
Used for work. Expected features from Pro missing. Cannot delete multiple messages (so 100s at once only); cannot disable redundant pop-up alerts telling me I've deleted a message (100s at once); must disable app in order to temporarily shut it off on my tablet.
It's a terrible app. Not intuitive at all. I'm an Electrical Engineer and have designed apps. Had this for two days now and still can't get it working.

The free version does what I need it to do. It's nice to access texting from various devices. There are some odd glitches: it doesn't always sync with my phone, and is hit and miss with contact updates. These things can be annoying but the app is still quite useful.
